Disney Acquires Lucasfilm - Star Wars Episode VII is a reality

Not sure how many of you read comics, but, Brian Wood's latest take on the series is pretty good. He's decided to start just at the end of IV. Only one out so far so its early days but I'm excited to see where it goes.

Oh for the love of God, NO!!!!!

There's only one person who is entitled play Han Solo and he's too old these days. And George Lucas ruined Boba Fett's mystique with a back story in episode 2... and even worse he made him a Kiwi!

I don't care if Lawrance Kasdan is writing the Boba Fett spin off. The guy wrote 3 of my fav movies (Empire, Raider, Big Chill) so I have all respect for him as a wordsmith but Disney are really ruining Star Wars for the fans worse than Lucas ever could...

I think Disney will do a great job. They've made a few movies with purchased IP's lately and kept the fans happy with them (the Tron sequal and the Marvel superhero movies off the top of my head, I'm sure there are more).

They'll tread just as carefully with Star Wars and lets be honest, nothing can be as bad as the Phantom Menace.

Stop overreacting before it even happens. Han Solo movie will be badass if they pick a good enough actor.
