I agree with most of you, risky piece of marketing and if I know Wayne Bennett while he will never admit it, he will jump on that marketing and use it to fire them up deluxe. Brown was f**king clueless in that department and pretty much every other department as well.

How about you guys stop sooking over a marketing poster

a) cause im the one of the people that made it..i work there. I was ment to establish the atmosphere that game created...the emotion that the tigers fans felt knowing they have made it to the GF...its motivation to come to the game and get a big crowd
b) how about getting off the forums and getting to the game to support the boys and your club
c) don't complain about there being more dragons fans then tigers...WHO IS TO BLAME...just u guys
d) make your opinion heard at the stadium not on the internet

what did you do, put more paper in the printer?

change the water cooler in the lunch room?

Or maybe you replaced the sanitory dispossal bin in the ladies?

I hope tigers fans get out in force to meet a big dragon army on friday night.

Forget 2005 its time to concentrate on now. This will be a great night for the fact it is the SFS (not homebush), there are always plenty of tries between us, Saints fans are on a high massively and they are coming out of the wood work. Tigers have to stand up.

I always get nervous playing the tigers...should be good fun.

err, no one's sooking over a lame marketing poster. Plenty of sooking over the team's performance though.

a) cause im the one of the people that made it..i work there. I was ment to establish the atmosphere that game created...the emotion that the tigers fans felt knowing they have made it to the GF...its motivation to come to the game and get a big crowd

Better motivation would be to:

A) Believe we have a reasonable chance of winning.
B) Play the game at Leichhardt or Campbelltown where we have a home ground advantage and where the fans want the games to be played.

b) how about getting off the forums and getting to the game to support the boys and your club

How about you not tell us how to support our club and worry about the support for your club.

The last time your club averaged more than our club was in 2004. And we have had 6 or 7 different home grounds in that time, you've had 1.

c) don't complain about there being more dragons fans then tigers...WHO IS TO BLAME...just u guys

There will be plenty more Dragons fans there than Tigers fans.

Why?

They're good, we're not.

It's at the Roosters home ground, not one of the two we fans consider to be our home grounds. You know, the fans who want the games to be at Leichhardt and Campbelltown?

d) make your opinion heard at the stadium not on the internet

Actually, not going to the game is voicing an opinion too. Sure, not the one you're hoping for because your marketing campaign will not look great, but it still voices an opinion.

There'll be plenty there, you needn't worry.

Revisiting 2005 isn't what we want. We all have the DVD already...

And to answer the question on the poster is...Yes I remember. It was the only season in which the Wests Tigers have played finals footy.

a) The poster is aimed at Dragons fans...aren't you supposed to be marketing for WT?
b) I'm going to the game but I can understand why alot of WT fans won't because it isn't their home ground.
c) See above.
d) Do you want the WTF to have banners saying "We need a better marketing department."?

Pretty dumb when you consider the tigers have the wood on the Dragons (Surprisingly). The Tigers have won 6 of the last 7 games played between the 2.

This dimwitted advertising has the potential to see us get f**king belted, considering our current form against theirs.

Fully agree- I dont see WT have the consistency on the board to rise to the occassion- we know they can play good football but not often. On the other hand- Saints are playing well and with direction under the new coach Bennett.

This is just like taunting a rottweiler and finding the gate open- I suspect we are going to get smacked something bad- if anything will fire up Saints this will.

You're a genius.

The problem is that this club lives in the past. The only motivation to come to the game should be our performances this season, not a game five years ago.

Absolutely pathetic.
