At the WWE RAW show in Paris, France today, Mickie James beat WWE Women's champion, Melina and Victoria in a Triple Threat match, by pinning Victoria to capture the title.

However, three matches later into the show, Melina beat WWE Women's champion, Mickie James with her feet on the ropes in just a couple minutes to regain her title.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that there is some heat on Ashley Massaro right now from WWE management. They feel that she has become hard to deal with since her Playboy spread came out, which is why they had Melina win at WrestleMania. The word is that Ashley’s push is done since the magazine promotion is over. There have been reports of Melina having a bad backstage attitude as well, but not to the extent of Ashley’s. Mickie James is likely to get a big push out of the whole thing.

I've gotten swamped with emails in regards to an internet rumour that I was released early this week....it is totally false. I am saddened at the news of the other WWE releases but even more that my name was brought into the mix. I've worked my whole life towards becoming a WWE Diva. The beautiful thing about the Divas is that they are strong, beautiful, and individual. I love my job with all my heart and I'm so very proud to have the opportunity to represent the company I've been in love with my entire life. Although I don't have to answer to or respond to the internet rumors that constantly come my way, I do owe the fans that have supported me over the past 7 years of my life. Yes I am still very much employed by WWE and working hard in OVW to one day return to WWE television and live my dream once again. Our business is all about patience and taking the good with the bad. If nothing else, you can be sure when you see Beth Phoenix, you will get 110% from me...everything in my heart.

Two weeks ago Shelly Martinez (a/k/a Ariel) was released from WWE. The reason why backstage was that she didn’t have the “right look”. This is Vince’s nice way of saying “you’re not pretty enough”.

Vince was negative on Martinez from the very start, but was persuaded by Heyman to bring her up since she did such a good job playing the nympho role in Ohio Valley Wrestling. Vince never understood the idea of goth characters and likes divas with the “model” look. With Heyman gone from the company Martinez had very little support backstage.

Some rumors circulated that she was released over an incident with Batista, however these are apparently false.

A fan says after chatting with Paul London for a bit and asking what it was like working with Ashley Massaro, London said Ashley was written out of the WWE storylines because she's leaving to be a contestant on the Survivor reality show.

Take this for what its worth now, until we hear some official announcement on Ashley being on Survivor. This could explain her "suspension" on SmackDown! this past week.

Tazz referred to Beth Phoenix as “Glamazon” last night on RAW. Phoenix had been using the nickname for a long period of time in Ohio Valley Wrestling so it appears as if that will be her nickname on the main WWE roster as well.
