Do we keep Sandow?

Why does Seward feel the need to respond every time he is asked?

It didn't help when he came out and said sandow was in the long term plan - his form dropped sharply. It wouldn't have helped us if we we're going to sign him as it would no doubt bump his price up.

And it hardly helps morale now to give such a non committal response.

If the clown is actually on the recruitment and retention committee as emjaycee tells us, why would he be publicly commenting on recruitment issues at all?

Likes being in the paper I suspect.

Norman would be an ok fullback, but would he be more of a threat then Robo. You have got to say Robo has improved a lot if compare game 1,2 & 3 at fullback. he was quite good last weekend IMO.

The only role i see for Sandow is as a 14. Parra wont re-sign thou.Sewards comments confirm they are just beeing nice. Its funny not any other club has made an offer for him. Id offer him 150k as a back up. All he is worth

I think it was Robo's best game at fullback. I guess he has the rest of the year to prove to BA he deserves at least another shot next year to be the #1.
But currently with who we have signed etc, I would give it to Norman next year.

I would have Norman defending at Fullback. Sandow attacking as Fullback.
They can barely execute a basic game plan in the halves and you want to confuse them by switching places in an unfamiliar position like fullback??? I'm sure it will work just fine..........

Fullback in attack is basically a play maker anyway....

All depends on what structure you play. I'd say with us going with a 3 halves the fullback would be more focused on running the ball than being a play maker.

3 halves? as in what we have now when Seffa comes on?

I wouldn't have Seffa in the starting 17 next year....

We would have our halves (Sandow, Foran) and fullback (Norman)

You have just confirmed what Hiney said  If you believe fullback is a play maker why do you think Sandow can do there what he can't do at half.

I don't think Fullback is a play maker, it IS what the position has become. You have to be able to be a ball player.

Sandow attacking as a fullback simply allows him to float around the park and let Norman and Foran control each set.

This is all hypothetical as certain things I have been told over the weekend suggests Sandow will not be at the club next year. But what I have explained is just the way I would use him if he did re-sign.

I watched French on the weekend and I think he will be a very good fullback. The question is when do we give him his crack at first grade?

French is def not ready this year. Physically that is. But he will be very good once he's ready to go.

Yeah I think this year is too early. (I would give him a couple of games towards the end of the season in Wenty though)

Would you be ready to give him first shot a fullback next year? (if we cant sign anyone)

The only reason I'd have Sef in the team is if Sandow is in the team. I'd much rather my fullback focused on running the ball with an okay passing game than a great passer and a below average runner of the ball.

Norman and Foran halves, and French as fullback for 2016.

If we couldn't find anyone the Yes. Ultimately he has got to build his body up for the rigours of the NRL. He has the speed and skill to make it but he's got to do sometime in under 20s / wenty this year.

Even Hayne played a fair share of Flegg before he was yanked up to first grade.

French won't be ready in 16 mate...maybe later that season but he'll be primed by March 17

That 1,6 & 7 I could deal with.
