Do we keep Tim Mannah?

That was my distinct impression too - although his numbers were very good.

Maybe a few of the forwards metres are being inflated though by the fact that two forwards are basically not being used?

Imo Tim is a good starting prop when he has a dominant prop to partner with - like Jumior.

Junior hasn't played much this year and I reckon it has impacted Tim's game.

I do think we should do a 2004 Tigers, though, and give the captaincy to Peats (the Tigers took the captaincy off Mark O'Neill in 2004, if I recall correctly, and many people were unhappy such a popular playet was no longer skipper - but it paid off).

I like Timmy and think he has a lot to offer, but it seems to me that the captaincy has affected his game.

Wasn't O'Neil their captain in 2005 when they made the GF? I think it was Darren Senter that was their captain in 04.

Watching from my seat near the fence on the 20 metre line at the northern end of the ground on Monday night, there was a noticeable difference in the way Wicks and Mannah were carting the ball back from the kick offs. Timmy was unwavering and ran with a lot of purpose back in to the Cowboys defensive line... Wicks was inclined to crab a little sideways and prop a little when he got to the defensive line...

Watching from my lounge room with my wall mounted 55 inch TV with Foxtel HD package I would also concur with your assessment.

I thought Mannah stepped up last week against Penrith and the first half against the Cowboys. He went missing int he second half against the Cowboys though.

Yeah he went missing for 12 mins, while the opposition targeted Sandow / Morgan and Moeroa - not sure what he could have done then, and we only had one set in 12 mins.

Then he got knocked out.

If a team leads 30-6 and 12 minutes later is down 30-36 and the Captain of the team has been on the field the entire time then I think he deserves contribution to the cause of the loss. This is how he went missing. Having said that, he certainly had plenty of friends in that area.

I reckon we played well as a team for 55 mins. Then we didn't play well as a team for 11 or 12 mins. Then we played as a team (albeit badly) for the last 13 mins.

At least we are a team this year.

I thought we were poor from the moment Semi dropped the ball from the tap and the Cowboys scored. I think that was the 58th minute. At no stage from this time did we play well.

It was the worse 12 mins of footy for the year, probably worse 12 mins of footy under Arthur. 30 points in 12 minutes is a disgrace !!! Still thinking it was a nightmare.

It was one of the worst 12 minutes from an Eels team ever to be honest.

The worst part is that the fans care more than the players......they all smile and joke after the game, no problem for them.

Yeh, I had a very bad feeling at that point too, given the ease with which they scored when given the ball in our 20 in the 1st half. I switched the TV off and watched the score updates with disbelief.

Someone should knock him out out training each week. Best game he has played in a long time. Dont know if concussion from last week had anything to do with it. He made 2 or 3 linebreaks tonight and had a few offloads.

Had a good game.
'Re-sign him! Great club man'

Plays shit next week.
'Get rid of him!'

He's a late bloomer, the best NRL years are in front of him.
Some Christians need to really experience NRL hell before they're determined to climb out and ascend to the nirvana of the NRL paradise that awaits them.
