Do you attend a game every week?

had a junior footy pass as a kid and went to chargers home games pretty often, moved from up north before the cowboys existed so seeing them live was a rare occurrence and would still go to regular titans games when the first came in and catch the train up for cowboys games against Brisbane until I moved to central qld for week. Since then haven't been based anywhere that I can go to games regularly apart from the eels games they moved to Darwin.

Plan to make a few warriors games next season as each one that would have been good to go to clashed with other commitments and the draw was released after I relocated to NZ telling me the cowboys wont be flying over the ditch this year. Waiting for next years draw to tell me they are playing away here but will be played in wellington or some crap like that lol

I'll travel from Mackay - TVille for 2-3 games a year plus any finals played up there. I'll go down to brissy to see the Mighty Broncs play 2 games a year.

I've got Foxtel. No need.

Food and drinks way overpriced and of poor quality and choice.
Parking and traffic.

If you're drinking, you're not driving - so traffic and parking are no excuse
If you eat before you leave home and you're driving, you're not drinking so poor quality and choice of drink is no excuse

How about

I am a lazy, good for nothing gob-shite, who'd rather sit at home criticising stuff than actually get out and support the game I purport to love

I reckon that sums it up :p

I went to 8 Roosters games (7 at home and 1 away) and 1 other game last season (Dogs v Titans)

I generally only go to Roosters games
However if I were somewhere where I'd never been to the ground before I would go to a game which didn't feature my team.

Unfortunately, all my visits to Gold Coast, Brisbane, Newcastle, Melbourne etc appear to occur stubbornly when those teams aren't playing #planningfail

I go to all Sharks home games. I'll go to at least one game of park footy a weekend and my company has a box at ANZ so I'll go there about 5 or 6 times a year.

I find that the people that whinge the most in the crowd thread are the ones that never attend a game themselves...

How do people if the NRL reverts to being only 1 game on game day ?

Plus the 45 min grass growing session before kickoff

Already been the case in Melbourne for the last season and their average didn't seem to suffer too much? Most AFL games are one-game-only as well.

I seriously can not work out what you mean in your 2nd point, after reading your 1st point

Can anyone explain?

I used to attend every Warriors game. Then I started working weekends, met women, developed a better social life and frankly who the f**k is stupid enough to pay good money to be disappointed every other weekend?

He's asking how people will react in 2018 when more often than not, there'll be no curtain raiser match. Holden Cup's final season is 2017.

45 min grass growing session is the period after u20s end and the NRL forced us to sit around waiting for FG to start

When it only used to be a 5 min gap between 3rds and Reserves and Reserves to Firsts

Making me pay to watch players warming up on the field is a joke. Most grounds have adjacent fields to warm up

This is so true,it is a long wait between games, and then they never start the NRL at the said time.

Also a major problem is the location of the grounds in relation to criminal activity, public transport and traffic.

Unlike Melbourne were every ground is serviced well.
