and have a 1989 retro Knights put away (well, hidden...) at Rebel as soon as I get the dough together.

i wear the rep jerseys, and love the retro ones, but the Knights ones are for games only.

I am much like u Broncodroid, it is a compulsive thing for me. I MUST hav the most recent Knights jersey, hell I even brought the cheapo one from Lowes here in Newy cos I just HAD to have the new jersey. Problem was, its unsponsored so I paid $75 for it, then a fortnight later they get a major sponsor don't they !! So anyway I most likely will be getting the sponsored one for this year as well, so in theory I'm paying 250-odd bucks for a jersey!!! Madness I know :lol: But I hav to keep up to date.

I hav the Knights 97 one, the 2000 away one, the 2001 "watermelon" one :lol: they couldn't tell the colours apart!!! Stupid freaking management. 2004 jersey, pretty much ever since I knew what footy was, I hav had an up-to-date Knights jersey. Thats going bak since I was about 2, so 16 yrs ago :lol:

Whenever possible, I get the new jersey signed as well.

I also had the white strip from the mid 90's with the diagonal stripes, but gave it to my cousin. I would also like to get my hands on a Superleague jersey. I was thinking of getting one of those retro Penrith City ones, but for me, it's all about authenticity - didn't become a Panthers fan until 1994. But if they release a commemorative one (not holding my breath knowing Penrith), with current sponsors on there, then I would consider it...

They are just too dear, and they arn't as warm for supporters watching their team run around on a freezing cold July night.

I agree the latest materials used in the tops are good for the players though....

While the sleeve sponsor for the Raiders have changed this season, I won't be buying a new one - I wait until there is a major design change.

Of course, plenty of caps, polos and other miscellaneous memorabilia too!

I was going to buy the 2005 jersey for the $99 price but I really went overboard on merchandise after last years Grand Final! Hats, scarves, framed photos...phew! Time to settle down. Probably buy next year as sponsors will be the same.

I also have a wales jersey without the dragon (sigh) and and on the lookout for a Qld jersey but probably won't go that far. I will pick-up a GB&I jersey with Gillete sponsorship before they split the teams into home nations in 2007(or 8).
