I know enough to know it would have been a factor and therefore the decision is unlikely to have been as simple as you are suggesting.
Is it a reasonable factor? Is he that important? Is he that good? Does he have enough credibility to have that much influence?

But I'm not the one throwing opinions out there is if they are absolutes. All I am doing is saying that you have no right to be so certain. My position is fairly defendable.
So all my statements are absolutes now? I should change my name to Moses.

Serious question, without looking to start anything...

Why is repeatedly changing your mind emotionally considered to be the ideal position, and approaching things more rationally considered to be "sitting on the fence?"

I changed my mind once against this f**king inept coach and now I always change my mind?

Edit: Changed once since creating the “When do we call time?” thread. When he first came I thought he was excellent and the best since Brian Smith as we all did.

If we finished last this season id tear BAs contract up, pay him out and hire a new coach.

The end.

French and Latrell bursted onto the scene at the same time.

One has become one of the best players in the game, meanwhile the other is bogged down in reserve grade.

Both with huge wraps as juniors.

Moeroa was a world beater when he came into grade... If he was at the Roosters or Storm he would be an international....

Same goes for French if he was at the Storm he would be already have 1000 tries..

Are we really implying that BA has destroyed French’s career ? If only he had the body of Latrell or the willingness to compete of Addo Carr.

I would recommend you approach the NRL and ask if Flanno can come back.

You seem unimpressed with Mr Arthur and the way your quality juniors come through the grades. (or don't)

Flanno is great at putting the pathways in and bringing players through to first grade where they go well.

Also good at signing good players.

For where you are at Flanno would be great.

Or you could stick with Brad.

Can I take a look at Option C?

You don't think he is anymore?
In all seriousness I’ve just had my second coffee, no. I think Anderson may have been. I didn’t approve when they boned him.

Arthur is by all reports a fantastic person. I’ve met him once and although a little prickly could sense he was a decent man. However he is a very limited coach who obviously cannot motivate his players on a consistent basis.

BA is fairly average. I don't rate him that highly and was happy to see him go before we re-signed him.

But, there hasn't been a single coach since Smith that has really been able to motivate his players on a consistent basis. Even Smith struggled at times.

That tells me that the problem goes a lot deeper than the coach.

Smith is a genius compared to BA. He got us to the semis 8/10 times.

Anderson was able to unlock something in 2009. To have the ability to do that for that many weeks is remarkable. His bench rotation was also something that BA could learn from. BA’s are awful. That run that we had will never be repeated and Anderson rightly should take plenty of credit for it.

The way Spagnolo and his cronies sacked him and replaced him with Kearney was near criminal.

I also wanted DA to stay but unfortunately the fans had too much say.
