Arthur has many areas of opportunity that need to be addressed, but he has, over the years, recruited well.

Nope that is trash recruiting. It seems good in theory but compare it to other coaches and who they have recruited at their clubs. He is a poor recruiter. (J Paulo, Brown, Moses, Lane as elite recruiting...are you kidding. Two of thse guys I had not heard of when we got them).

He can scab some old whore ex elite players that clubs are not motivated to retain. That is about his level.

Brad Arthur is a poor leader and that is why in 7 years the club has not developed any strong leaders. He has very low standards (for example he dresses badly and he does low standard press conferences that demotivate the fans). The players like him but have no respect for him. In the past 5 years we have had the worst behavior off the field in the competition. I think Brad is lazy and dumb. I don't think he gets what is needed from the club in terms of support thats why last season went so badly. Thats a reflection on him and how he lacks influence.

He was the last guy to come up with a brilliant strategy, which was in 09 just throwing mad house off loads. I would love to go back to that. 3 off loads per carry. To hell with errors.
We defend pretty well on the try line what we dont do is wrestle well so they make territory easily on us and tire us out. Solution, just throw crazy offloads in own half and make your errors in own half and score your tries from off loads and spreading ball.

All his previous success both in NZ and the UK must have been an accident. Same goes with Toovey, Brian Smith after the Roosters also David Furner and Tim Sheens who are now in the UK. None of them are in the NRL, so they must be shit.

FYI Anderson had plenty of chances to return to the UK. He didn’t for family reasons. You know how I know? He f**king told me when he was the referees boss.

We're still looking for some leaders to bring in. After that's done we'll know how much money we have left to recruit/retain around them.

And plenty of players improved under Arthur. Gutherson was a f**king nobody when we signed him from Manly. Moses is now one of the top playmakers in the NRL and his defence is on par with most other NRL halves. Semi Radradra became so good no NRL team could afford him. Nathan Brown is also twice the player he was before we signed him. And prior to this year Alvaro was one of the best defensive forwards in the NRL. He just needs to drop some weight, though to be fair, every middle forward sharing a defensive line with Junior Paulo looks worse - look at Canberra's defence since they got rid of him. Third best in the NRL. You'll note they didn't sack their coach to get that improvement.

Fans don't want to sign any particular coach (except Bellamy and merkins like him). They don't offer solutions, just problems. Most fans were just happy we sacked Kearney. They didn't care who we replaced him with.
