We really weren't in with a chance from when media raised how bad our attack was and Brad said he doesn't care about the attack it is defense that wins matches.
That makes him dumb. To win your attack needs to score more points that your defense allows. You cant just ignore one side of the ball like that. He had an inflated idea of how good our defense was capable of being.

He was beyond the point of diminishing returns for the time invested in defense and the area he should have focused on was the attack because there was much better potential for improvement and bang for buck for the effort. Me too. I don't think the injuries stopped us beating Melbourne but Takairangi and Dunster were definitely the difference vs Souths. Not that Dunster did much wrong, he just offered f**k all.
