The only anomaly is our superior record against the better teams. Can see why merkins might use that as an argument for why we are better but you can’t ignore our performances against the shit teams.

I’m not sure our record is superior against the better teams. The average ladder position (after 14 games) of the teams we have beaten is 9.4. The average position of the teams that have beaten us is 8.6. I suspect that is closer than it would be for most/all other clubs, but it’s not like we are actually doing better against the good teams than the shit ones.
