I thought he replaced him at the right time. If anything our props needed a rest a bit earlier. They just weren't chasing the collision. Did I mention they made 24 tackles (between them) in 84 combined minutes? By comparison Hopgood made 35 in 45 minutes.

Agree. BA's unwillingness to change his bench tactics, rotations and timings (for all middles) to suit the humid conditions were short-sighted.
Haas, Flegler, Carrigan and Matterson all coped just fine with the first 25 minutes. The game doesn't stop just because you bring players off. The earlier you go to your bench the more minutes lesser players might have to contribute. As it was, every merkin in our team played at least 30 minutes this week. That is rarely the case.

Canberra beat them ffs!!
And we beat Penrith. It's one f**king game. It means nothing. It certainly doesn't mean one merkin 'outcoached' the other. As if coaching makes any measurable difference over 80 minutes. Coaching impact is measured over multiple seasons, not a handful of games. We know this because coaches achieve significantly more or less at different clubs, or even in different seasons at the same club. They absolutely get different results week to week. Last year Walters couldn't coach and now he's suddenly a coaching guru because his star-studded team are April premiers? Give it a f**king rest.

Walters still can't coach, but him and Reynolds still outclassed Bea Arthur.

Yep just a poor team with a lack of resources and luck lol. Canberra beat them ffs!! Titans and Saints led them at half time. As i said peddle your BS elsewhere.
Mind u in Brisbane as well without Wighton, Tapine, Savage..
They got in their faces and bustled them all game. They were given next to no chance.
We were never winning that game last night.
Same predictable shit. We start playing footy when the game is gone.
Teams who play up tempo and fair bit of dummy half running absolutely just kills us.
Our ruck defence is horrible.
Granted they scored 3 tries from kicks but they were able to get into position and easily to do so.
Hodgson is an absolute passenger.
I hope he yells out I'm a celebrity get me out of here.
How Haas stayed on the field is beyond a joke..fkn disgraceful. That was the worst of the 3 and Hopgood's wasn't a bad tackle..

Hes not an expert at hip drops, hes not an expert at team selection, hes not an expert at nrl level defense, hes not an expert at bench rotations and hes not responsible for motivating the team.

With parra you can tell within 5 mins if we are winning or not.

There was no intensity in that first 10 mins and you just knew Brisbane had our measure last night from the get go.

Similar to the Roosters game where the scoreboard looks respectable despite being outplayed but also having no luck at the same time.

when you look at the talent in the Bronx, I don't see how much can be attributed to both coaches

it was only a matter of time till the Broncos were able to capitalize on the benefits of the one team per capital city again after going through a bad few years

that will change with the Dolphins coming in but if you compare the personnel, I reckon I could coach the ponies

I get you @Twizzle but they weren’t that good. If Haas goes to the bin we win the game. It just proves that we are not that bad. The RCG injury will hurt us but it’s an opportunity for a player like Greig to step up. I’m hoping BA sees the light and drops Hodgson. We can all see it and he ended up agreeing with us with Blake. I’d be bringing in Moretti.

I’d give Cini an opportunity too with Simonsson being concussed. However it starting to look thin in the playing stocks and we need to make some purchases quickly or our season is over.
