when you look at the talent in the Bronx, I don't see how much can be attributed to both coaches

it was only a matter of time till the Broncos were able to capitalize on the benefits of the one team per capital city again after going through a bad few years

that will change with the Dolphins coming in but if you compare the personnel, I reckon I could coach the ponies

They changed their management didn’t they?

Brought that guy up from Melbourne…

Flew down to Sydney to meet up with Renno and put in the yards off the field to make sure he was comfortable.

Very well managed and it’s reflected in the results.

I’m hoping BA sees the light and drops Hodgson.

I was surprised that he dropped Simonssen and Blake, but he did

I guess it's a matter of what other options ? Hands will not be an 80 minute player at this stage as last year he was also playing a bit of back row in the Cup team last year so he will need to grow into that position, assuming he can

Hate to say it but we would be better off alternating Hands with JA. Hodgson needs to retire with immediate effect

actually, his kicking game and ball playing skills could be useful at 9, not the worst suggestion

I'm not sure he has ever dropped Simonsson. He was suspended the last two weeks, and last year he was injured and then we kept a winning side instead of bringing him back in.

JA is also a good defender. I'm not against it....but we have massive issues with Hodgson. You can't afford a slow pedestrian hooker. Not even the knock shop accepts them anymore either

I've never really had an issue with his defense, he it pretty big for a little bloke so could probably do a job in the middle, its not new to him

I'm really just trying to be optimistic as there wasn't much to take from last night that was too positive

I'm off BA. For our Board to extend him early just shows we aren't serious about getting better each year.
We want to get better. All clubs want to do that. The clubs that win are hell bent on it. They are foaming at the mouth to get better and be the best. Like Alabama.

Almost the same team we have beat comprehensively around September last year. That first half was terrible, broncos willing to win the collision in attack and defence. Whose job is it to make sure the team is mentally prepared for the game ?
Not the coaches, he doesn’t do the motivational stuff. Not sure what he does do actually bar swill water and sound like a simple Bogan.

I actually thought he took our front row off earlier than he usually does.
Hodgson and RCG were gassed at the 20min mark, and needed to be replaced.

Easy for the eye of most observers to see, but not as easy for a coach wedding to a rigid system involving 8 water bottles to adjust his pre-conveived plans it seems.
