Nah i reckon that loss has made them stronger and burned them to not experience it ever again.If Smith wasn’t there for the Storm in 2020 I reckon Penrith would have done a 4p.
Unlike our last 3 GF sides who have failed miserably the years afterwards.
I said a long way out in 2020 if Penrith got to the GF that year only losing 1 game they would lose the GF and it happened. Teams don't win premierships these days unless you lose 3 games at a minimum i reckon.
Plus they got dead lucky in 2021 like seriously the more i look back on that semi final loss i am more pissed off about that game then the GF last year.
We got deadset stitched up by Klein and refs that night Penrith should have been staring down the barrel of 2 dominant seasons where they rarely lost a game with no premiership.
