That's BS and you know it..we had Corey Norman...Drown took over once Norman was shown the door....it had nothing to do French v Drown...
Never let the truth get in the way of a good story..
Seriously mate, why do you even bother?

Why do you even bother? Who forced you to appear in the Brad Arthur thread you dopey loserSeriously mate, why do you even bother?
Sorry Gaz, but that is a little bit of revisionist theory there mate.
French played a total of 2 games at 5/8 for Wenty (our 2's) and both of those early in 2019. The rest of his NSW Cup games were on the Wing or at Fullback.
And BA froze him out of FG because he refused to put his body on the line and do the work required to be an NRL winger. Perfect for ESL though.
I haven't complained about him leaving...Of course it didn't. French isn't suited to any position other than fullback in the NRL and Gutherson beat him. The point is French was surplus to requirements but you're still complaining he's gone?
After Gutherson emerged as the fullback, Arthur tried to fit French in the team. When it didn't work, he got rid of him. Are you saying he should've gotten rid of him sooner?I haven't complained about him leaving...
Show me where I complained about him leaving...just said he's a good player and has lots of skill and super fast but the coach wanted to use a twig on the wing in 1st grade in the NRL and that was never going to work..
The coach made the decision...
In BA we trust...oh wait
All between 2019 and 2022. In the other seven years Arthur's didn't know how to coach.
Bulked him and used as a backup fullback / utility...anyways enough of Frenchie. Good luck to him, he's made a home in the UK.After Gutherson emerged as the fullback, Arthur tried to fit French in the team. When it didn't work, he got rid of him. Oh look he's back to convince me. It is very small.

You can't help bad luck mate....All between 2019 and 2022. In the other seven years Arthur's didn't know how to coach.
Poor BAYou can't help bad luck mate....
Do you not think with experience, maturity and possibly better coaching they have improved?Jai Field and Bevan French have both absolutely killed it in Super League.
Can we stop pretending that this translates to elite ability in the NRL ?
The last two winners of their Man of Steel (Dally M Gold) awards were Brodie Croft and French FFS.
No, cos no other NRL club has bothered to sign French.Do you not think with experience, maturity and possibly better coaching they have improved?
There are players who are a little bit overwhelmed, not ready, played out of position or unfortunately coached by Arthur when they come into 1st grade...that's enough to kill anyone's confidence
He's way too expensive now Gronky since he's found his game. The NRL is full of outstanding 5/8s and fullbacks that probably cost less than Bev would be on.No, cos no other NRL club has bothered to sign French.
Can't agree on that either. Spine players in the NRL earn huge coin. He's way too expensive now Gronky since he's found his game. The NRL is full of outstanding 5/8s and fullbacks that probably cost less than Bev would be on.
The one element Bev provides is speed and unfortunately our previous coach didn't value it until it was too late.
Is Preston Campbell and Trey Fuller any better than Bevan French and he apparently chased both of those albeit too late.
