At the start of the season Gould said "The cream would rise to the top" in other words teams like Roosters and Bulldogs would end up taking out the minor premiership or the premiership. I'm sure he has forgotten about what he said.

i had sharks vs storm final
i imagined a pride of sydney with all nsw. cheering for the sharks , vs the fairytale melbourne storm who the rest of australia wanted to win
