So with SBW gone...is there anyone on the market that the Dogs actually want...I heard Darius Boyd...why do we want Bronco's players..there the one team we have actually beaten recently.

Who is actually left to buy in 09???????

Same diff. His assets and name at stake.

So you'd rather the NRl and Bulldogs spend a lot of money on lawyers on a 50-50 case that they really don't get any benefit out of?

This is the best outcome for the Bulldogs and NRL. Hence why they accepted it.

Mate, he hasn't lived in his house for 2 years,it isn't even in his name. His family lives there. He has been living with his GF in a unit owned by Khoder Nasser in Hurstville for the past 18 months.

This is the best outcome for the Bulldogs and NRL. Hence why they accepted it.

Congratulations. You win the most overbearing, anal & pedantic poster award.

Money they'd get back in costs awarded against SBW. Benefit in getting the principle of negotiated settlement of contracts upheld in a court of law.

Yes.

Yes.

How do you know they would receive costs?

The case is extremely complicated. It was not worth the trouble. The Canterbury Bulldogs RL club have received $750k for doing nothing. Everyone has received a benefit out of this outcome.

To fight the case on principle is ignoring the fact that this case was not 100% winnable and perhaps 50-50.

since SBW wasnt fighting the case here, the dogs couldve claimed what they wanted in damages, then once they won it, gone for his assets here, and then tried to chase him overseas.

also his union club was keen to use him so dragging it out wouldve forced them to offer more.

sure $750,000 is a lot of money, they shouldve got a whole lot more.

well when certain people have said they wished RU had killed off RL in france, what are people surprised when they are happy a star NRL player is lost to the same clubs?
