The start of the season,most of the armchair experts were talking Eels v Dragons grand final--Now they are both on struggle street

St george have had their fair share of injuries,but with a team that has depth,that is the envy of most teams,I dont think thats a fair excuse.Sure they look a far better outfit,when Head is calling the shots,but they did make it nearly to the big one without him. Is it Brown??Is it all the contract talks??.Early days yet,but their are worrying signs

Parra,on paper the best best allround quad,back ups to all postions includding the halves.Most nrl teams if they loose a halve,their gone.With Tim Smith out of sorts,the wheels have fallen off. A few of the senior players,look like senior players,tired and slow.Early days yet,but gee,they need a spark.Has all the Brian Smith drama taken its toll???They have the talent,but the place needs a big shake up

Yes Parra is a confidence team. At the moment we have zilch. The season is still young though.

This time last year,Piggy Riddell,was killing them,not the same this year.Two wins on a trot and people will be talking the eels back up.But i dont see the same drive in the eels this year.Once again,Tim Smith fires up,and it could be a different team--who knows--one thing for sure,T Smith has to go to the line more and put some doubt in the defence.At the moment you can read him like a book

God and I thought we (the Raiders) were pretty ordinary when we don't turn up... I have never seen a display like Parra's though the other night.

I couldn't believe the bench they named.... Widders, Hindmarsh, Vella and Riddell (not sure if Riddell was the 4th benchie)... that's incredible depth, their starting 17 on paper is tremendous but we never even looked like losing. Couldn't believe it to be honest and the Parra fans near me were resigned to it pretty early in the piece.

Obviously 17 weeks still to go but they look shot to pieces.

I really do feel for the dragons and roosters. How any side could cope with the injuries they have had this season is beyond me.

Im a tigers fan, and seeing us having to turn up without hodgo, farah and benji was heart breaking.

For the dragons to turn up without head, ryles, bailey and bannana would be heartbreaking
