Dragon Army Tour to Canberra - Roll Call

In all seriousness, if we can attract 10,000 people to be ticketed members of this club, and with most away matches we particpate in attracting record (season) crowds for clubs, there shouldn't be any problem with getting 50% of these people along to this game. It all comes down to scheduling.

I have an ambition inside of me, I want to see a UK style crowd of away support infifltrate a city. Like when a US aircraft carrier arrives in Sydney, you see soldiers everywhere, it's like (well pun) an army. Rugby League shouldn't struggle to get 5k along to a match of opposition supporters.

Where are these people and how do we get them on the bus?
5k might be ambitious, but 500 would be a brilliant start lol

well its in the AFL, the other week when swans played collingwood and other AFL teams they just overtake our city, and all you see are losers wearing AFL singlets( i refuse to call them jerseys or even Guernsey). its just the away team not advertising enough or even too expensive for people to travel. the club needs to do more!

I should definetly be in now, even if it's on saturday. My netball team sucks, so it's unlikely we'll make the semis haha

When the date is announced, are you gunna organise everything straight away - like when will the RSVP be?

I'll go Friday
5 bucks, Davey? haha

i'll go $10 and a schooner of beer riding on this one, i'm that confident. :D

Hahha

you're on :D

Sheridan, you owe the man a beer.... and 10 bucks! He even picked the exact time, that should be worth double.

As discussed with OurRedV a few weeks ago, I am definately going, but since it is now a Saturday game, I will probably go with my cousins, rather than the bus. They are staying overnight in Canberra, and dad thinks it is a good idea to stay rather than coming back to Saints leagues at 11:30/12

Someone may have to save me a seat on the bus.

Over the next week or so I am leaving canberra to start a new job up in Sydney.
On the plus side - I'll get to a lot more Dragons games, on the minus - I'm gonna have to get back to Canberra to see them!

Oh well - expect to see me more frequently with the Army.
