I believe Craig is a very very integral and honourable man, Ive always loved the guy and it was clear that the corruption scandal there a while back utterly disgusted him personally, being so integral!

I also believe that all of us true spirit Saints fans should have faith in him making up his own mind, in his own time and not just think hell be swayed by the HUGE amount of cash that you and I know New Ltd would be currently tempting him to stay at Storm with.....Im saying that the mans integral and will do what he wants NOT be swayed by cash in any way, though being human...and the amount Ruperts offering would be outrageous youd imagine...the decision would be quiet a challenge but if he wants to be near his dear mother and his good wife wants to return to Sydney well...money alone wont be swaying the man thats for sure, stay patient all and give the guy some respect and space to think its a HUGE decision for him, theres no ruch he certainly wont be rushing its a big move and change let him mull it over....but if you read this Craig PLEASE COME TO SAINTS!, WIN A GF HERE AND YOULL BE A TRUE IMMORTAL OF COACHES!!

The delay with Belly is due to him waiting for the new buyers of the Storm. The fact is the Dragon's offer is on the table. If he wanted to take it, he would have done it weeks ago. The longer the wait the more certain he's still negotiating with the Storm's potential buyers. Obviously he can't tell the Dragons he not coming cause he would lose his bargaining power with the Storm. Doust should do the right thing and give him a call and tell him the deadline is BEFORE the WCC game or redraw the offer.

I am being very honest.... I think my team will have a good year, I have been honest where their weaknesses are but have shown that their strengths are more than their weaknesses...

Pull my head in, why because I have a go at those who bag my team .... Pull your head in buddy!

There is a difference between fans and supporters.... We have the most fans in the nrl, no doubt, but I don't think we have the most supporters.... I don't know you mate and I don't know how much "support" you give saints but there are a lot out there and on this forum who bag my team out with every post...

My point was that its good to see someone on here prepared to give us a chance this year ...

And to say that I expect the best from the mighty red v is not a hopeless expectation...

I don't need to be told how to behave .. I respect everyone, I like some more than others but you show me disrespect in your post!
As Twenty10 said ,we all support and love our team. You give us a chance this year which is fantastic.Others see our season as being a tough one.Reasons have been given at times .It is you who is being disrespectfull to those who have an opinion which differs to yours.Who are you to call them doomsayers.
We all want our team to have a good season and we have had an offseason where we have all voiced our opinions of what season we think we will have, respect all views whether you agree or not .
We are all on the same side.

You have been keeping a very low profile of late Willow. Oops I forgot, you are skipping 2013, if I recall correctly, LOL.

Now to all the young whippersnappers on here with stars in their eyes, time for a few home truths.

Those among us who have been round for a while and do not quite share the same perspective for our success in the 2013 season, do so out of a considered opinion, of both our player potential, and coaching prowess. In no way, do I view any forum member who seeks to discuss our shortcomings, as not being 100% behind our Club. Such discussion in my view is well warranted given last season's performance. As for this year, time will tell.

Some of us get so fired up over another persons view, loose the plot, and then it ends up in a bun fight. To what end I ask?

We have absolutely no influence whatsoever over our teams performance on the field. But we have every entitlement to reflect on that performance and the reasons for it. Opinions of course may be at variance, but that is the nature of human discourse. Having said that, I think we are in for a unique season with a multitude of things to discuss as a consequence, Hopefully in a civilised manner.

Mate all seasons are tough. I feel Johnny-be-Goode is saying that there have been people on the forum that continually bag the club & haveing a go at coach & officials even before a ball is kicked. It has happened for some time & this is one of the reasons I support him & deceided to post on the forum.
As I have said before, I thoroughly agree with people having their say about the club, players & coach however there is no need to bag everyone.
From some comments that have been made from time to time, not all people that post, support & love the team.
Anyway the season is close & as I am unable to attend all games due to serious surgery last year, I hope we all get together, have a fun year & support the mighty REDV

How's the prostate?

You are wise Old Timer.

But the thing is, we're old.

One day we're going to shuffle off, and then these young whippersnappers will then be the old ones pontificating from their lofty positions.

We all think we know everything when we're 13, then again at 18, then somewhere in our mid-20s we laugh at teenagers and tell them they know nothing. We become our most arrogant around 30-something. Then there's a break of 10-20 years when we realise we know nothing at all. But fear not, by the time we hit 60, we forget all those lessons and become know-it-alls again.

It's the cycle of life.

I?d like to see a quote from Bellamy himself before believing this is true. However, if true it is a good sign indeed. Yes, very frustrating for Dragons fans waiting for a decision but if true, this can only be a good sign.

In my opinion it means Bellamy has made up his mind to sign with Dragons - or is leaning heavily that way. By delaying his decision, it would seem he is mindful of the potential impact on the Storm players and so, doesn?t want to let the players down just before the WCC game in England.

I think the odds could have just changed from 50/50 to 80/20 in favour of the Dragons.

Yeah possm I posted on this thread the other day that I thought he would delay until after wcc as I tended to think that would indicate he is signing with the dragons but doesn't want the news to cost the storm the wcc ,just surmising

He definately said some time ago, I think around xmas, that he would announce his future prior to the WCC. So if what you say is now fact (and I don't doubt it is probably accurate) something has obviously made him change his mind. I would have thought that he would have considered the effect on the team for the WCC when he made the earlier comments around xmas.

I think it may be more contractual complexities dragging on and not the effect it will have on the team prior to the WCC. Then again to be frank, I like the rest of us I wouldn't have a clue.

Like I said I have no inside info just trying to put some logic behind the delay but as it stands I still think he's coming.

Well you did, I just cannot find the evidence. And I did look.

How's the prostate?

Prostate cancer is under control for the time being. Have you had a PSA test and digital recal examination recently Willow? PCa is very popular among men these days and you don't have to be old to get it. I know a youngun (41) with it.

You are wise Old Timer.

You just dropped the ball on that one Willow.

But the thing is, we're old.

Old, well that is news to me. Me perhaps, but you?

One day we're going to shuffle off, and then these young whippersnappers will then be the old ones pontificating from their lofty positions.

True but our words of wisdom will still be here to give the guidance.

We all think we know everything when we're 13, then again at 18, then somewhere in our mid-20s we laugh at teenagers and tell them they know nothing. We become our most arrogant around 30-something. You left out a bit there Willow.

And by the time you are in your 80's, as I am, you maybe perceived as a senile old fool, a fountain of knowledge, or just to grumpy. Me, I am a mixture of all the previous.

LOL! How convenient.

I think you have me mixed up with someone else. I haven't skipped a season in 50 years.
