This thread is a good read for a giggle.

Ravalawa is really paying the club back for their commitment to him, even despite many of us being quite opposed to it at the time.

He seems to have really worked on his weaknesses and just gets stronger and stronger. He was awesome today. I bet his teammates are glad he is on their team as I don't think anyone would enjoy tackling him. Pure aggression and strength.

Mikaele's career is on the rise and who knows where it may go from here!

I loved the way he went back and gave it to the Saifiti bros after one of them shoulder charged him when poor Kurt Mann got knocked cold
I reckon they were all shoulder charges in that tackle and then Barnett’s elbow to the head as he was falling should be a lot of charges there
Hang on O’Brien who has a habit of excuses in press conferences said he may not be able to name 21 people next week
Oh OK fine sufficient

Add Klemmers crap about Rocky head butting him when the scrum was packed so he had a pop at him......I thought the Knights tried a lot of grubby intimidating tactics to get on top of our boys yesterday but we never flinched once

Rava not so long ago was classed as ‘ not 1st grade standard’ - he has proven everyone wrong, as was late to play League so needed time to develop his skills. The guy hits like a Mack Truck..., has massive drive and looks to be super happy at the Dragons. We got a good one !

Rava’s output on the footy field this year is true testimony to the piss poor input of the previous coaching staff including the much heralded Flanno.

Hook arrives enlists specialist help and gets immediate results in all facets of Rava’s game whereas the previous dead brain society would say try harder and drop you to CC to never be seen or talked to again.

Well done to him and long may he bring a smile to our faces as he proudly wears the famous big red v

With no disrespect intended how good does a big strong proud Fijian look in our jumper just awesome IMO.

As I've said a few times now, you couldn't really assess the quality of our players before getting a new coach. Rava is one that I always saw as having great potential but coaching let him down. There's a heap of other players as well. Fuimaono was another that I seem to recall people calling a "journeyman" and a poor purchase - I could go on.

Are they going to be perfect every game? No. Will it take time to get consistency across the team? Yes. But I think we have a good base to work from here and we are definitely on the improve. It is blatantly obvious to everyone now that the previous coaching team hampered us for years.

What I will say is though that I don't think Ramsay is our future fullback - unless he bulks up a bit. At the moment he adds less than Dufty.

Always loved Rava but he is accident waiting to happen. He got to create some doubt his like a magnet and opposition always come into tackle with numbers. He needs to change direction in or out to make it harder for people to tackle him .

Very glad that the judiciary will be having a word with those Knight players who shouldered charged Rava . After looking at the replay - numerous times there is no doubt that it was them and not Rava that had caused the knockout to the unfortunate Mann .

Rava is running at them at full pelt and he is hit both left and right by the Knight’s shoulders which causes Rava’s elbow up from that impact into Kurts face .

Certainly not Ravas fault at all , in fact their was no intention on his part . Obrien should give him self a bluudy big uppercut for the tactics he employed for his players to use against the Dragons .

Another thing , that bluudy Pearce stiff arm on Simms was worth 10 in the bin . The fact that the dog done his shoulder in the attempt would had been of little compensation to the Dragons if Simms had suffered a broken jaw .

Damn pleased to see the Big Red V fight fire with fire for a change .

Expressed the same thoughts in a different post Gareth. Irrelevant that Pearce got injured; should have been binned.

Great thread bump.

It’s not just the Saifiti boys that Rava made look stupid this week.
