I'd also have to check, but I think Steelers Leagues (which St George Leagues owns) clocked in a bigger profit in 05 than your club. Another KPI that shows we are a club on the ascension, while yours is a club in decline.

Because the Dragons were losing, a bunch of St.George types started chanting "Steelers, Steelers" and some Steelers people took exception (and rightly so).

then that is disgracefull! i am fully supportive of the joint venture & wish more could be done to show the illawarra influence! i liked both clubs before & can't see how any dragons fan can dislike being combined with that region! i certainly don't mind ryles and other illawarra juniors!

The "brawl" was between two brothers over a trivial thing (as brothers are sometimes known to do, especially when alcohol is involved). Sutherland Police Force were quickly on the scene & dealt out some "Shire justice", which resulted in the coppers losing the subsequent court case & a laughing St George fan walking away from court with a substantial amount of money.

But a JV "rumble" is a far more plausible story isn't it :roll:
