We have been in the Manly 20, attacking a few times and Dufty has not touched the ball once. Really disappointing considering how dangerous he can be. He looks disinterested to be honest.
I dont agree watch the game NONA NEVER passes him the f**k'n ball

I don't think it would matter if they a different set of halves, or a specialist centre.

The whole team is playing with no plan, no enthusiasm, pathetic defence, and no idea what to do when they have the football in hand.

This is where the coach matters, if we are lucky enough to get rid of McGregor, I hope they ship Head out with him as well.

The talent is in this team but they are directionless and disinterested.

Better hope we have minimum injuries in the firsts, because we could be in big trouble otherwise.

Its a weak team on paper last years was stronger.

I honestly don't know how to pick this one. I haven't been overly impressed with Manly, whatever defensive systems they're running have some serious technical deficiencies, especially on their own line. We've been a more solid team, but have had a softer draw and we're missing our first-choice fullback. Coin flip.
Agree JDHD, I haven't been too impressed with Manly either tbh. Don't think they deserve red hot favourites today, but happy they are.
With Dugan playing I would think we'd beat them but we're going miss Duges, like I've said a few times, we always play better when he's on the field, he's inspirational and a leader. Hope they all lift to make up for his presence. Friz, Thomo, Sims, JDB should step up and fire them up today. Friz, Sims and Packer are our only forwards yet to score so a couple of them scoring would go a long way today.
Seabudgies have lost two at home already, I think we may have enough to win as under dogs, as long as Badger doesn't fold to the Brooky crowd.

Not confident either. And we suck at Brookvale.

It's their speed that worries me. We have nothing that can match Tommy Turbo and Walker. It's why teams like the Roosters worry me as well with guys like Mitchell and Ferguson. Parra showed how to beat us...it's out wide where Semi, Jennings and French had a field day.

Unless our forwards absolutely dominate, I think we're in trouble.
Your absolutely right, it's their speed' in the backline. All I have to say is the same as what I've told my two sons and what I also told the juniors I coached about 20 years ago; 'they can't run without legs'.

I'd say the only soft game we've had was the Tigers last week. Penrith won tree in a row after we beat them, Sharks are the premiers, Parra beat us and Manly will no they were in a game when they play us today.

Coast, not going to argue with your opinion, and I agree Heads selections today are hard to understand but considering that most of these players are either NRL experienced, or have gone through the "toughest preseason ever" by training with the NRL side.

They should be showing more than we are getting today that's for sure.

I thought Kerr played OK today but the rest played very poor. Leilua very disappointing, Dufty must be playing injured and Herbert still has a long way to go for first grade inclusion. Host had a poor game as well.

For me, Kerr is on his way to be there in a first grade rotation if an injury occurs.

I'll be genuinely shocked if we win this, especially at Brookvale where we haven't won for 9 years.

If we win, I'll start to think more and more we are the real deal.

Yep, and can you can't coach speed.

And as as good as we're going, we have none.

Illawarra, across the park played with no energy today.

Bit harsh on luc there possm, he scored two solo tries with that big fend and looked good at times with ball in hand.

I like Kerr.

Big, strong and can hit like a freight train.

His fitness and lateral defense he needs to work on though.
