We were all over the Titans in our last match. We won 46-26, with 2 early injuries, 2 HIH's and a sin bin for F.Molo, at one stage we had no-one on the bench. Bud and Hunt played really well. It was the first of 3 solid wins to finish off 2022. The line-ups aren't the same but they're not that different either except we had Suli and Sims out. The Tits backline missed heaps of tackles last week and will have Suli, BMM, Su'a, and our backline to contend with.
If you only looked at the stats for the Tits vs Tiges game last week you'd be wondering how the hell the Tiges lost, the stats are all way in their favour but their inability to finish off let them down big time as did multipe errors.

Our boys need to show some discipline and composure that was lacking in our trials.

Now there is a story that Lomax and Titans centre Schoupp had an incident while playing in the juniors in the Gong .
Hate each other.
Schoupp was let go after the incident.
Lomax needs to stay on his game and not prove how tough he is if niggled by Schoupp.
Schoupp is a niggler you can see how he plays the game.

Reading about the dislike Lomax & Schoupp have for each whilst playing lower grades in Dragons /Illawarra juniors, which apparently was the reason Dragons let Schoupp go, could be the reason Lomax has been switched to Left side to face up against him.

If Lomax keeps his head, he'll come out on top of Shoupp. If he lets it get to him, he'll embarrass himself. Lets hope he's done work on keeping level headed.

Cannot agree enough re recruiting first grade props. I dont think they ever adequately replaced Frizz or Sims. I think if we do that and develop CM to 9 to add depth for Liddle, and Lomax plays to his potential - we make the finals easily. I actually like that Liddle is fast and hoping he can give us the X factor we need in attack.

I have said all along if your engine room is working only on 3 cylinder instead of 6, not consistently making the advantage line and at least 3 forwards need to run 100m plus to give you an even chance of being competitive. You can have the Kangaroo backline it won't matter. We have suffered greatly from the lack of size of the bookends and their go forward. Until that is addressed we won't be playing semi finals football anytime soon
