Wet weather is forecast so that might change how the game is played..
We havent been known to have any sort of short kicking game close to tge opposition line.
Along the ground in the wet conditions when and if we get close to their line is a must,
It could bounce anywhere.

Bill Parcells Quote: “Potential means you haven't done anything yet.”
Exactly. In my limited coaching time my favourite thing that I said to our clubs rising stars who had booms on them was to quite simply try to bring them back to earth. I would say " Potential means nothing if you don’t do anything with it.” Some got it some didn't.

Great insight there. Fifita would have been sooo good to sign but anyway onwards and upwards. I think we can sneak over the line and looking forward to the game. I am on the CC NSW would take me about 3 hours to get to Jubilee where I grew up, so can't go sadly. Not keen to go to the Brisbane game not hopping on a plane for that one. Hope we can get past those defensive holes nice to hear. I think we can muster a bit of razzle dazzle if we keep the errors in check. And don't let tries in - here's looking at you Sloan and Mbye.
Not sure why it would take you 3 hours from the Central Coast? I'm in Maitland and it takes 2 hours to get to the Airport.

Are they still going to build that new airport in western Sydney ? I said years ago they should build a really big airport west of the Central Coast with good infrastructure and transport links to Sydney, CC and Newcastle. That would have been sensible and cheaper in the long run.

Anyway.......game day, woohoo, can't wait !
Good luck to the boys, hope they play well and no-one gets hurt or sin binned. We need a good start, stick it to the doubters and show we mean business. pew pew pew madafakas !

The big battle today will be the one between the two ex broncos players and good mates, Su'a v Fifita. Who comes out on top will go a long way to securing victory, Fifita ran for 206m last week, he can't be allowed to do that this week . Our engine room needs to match the Titans. F Molo should be fresh but may not be battle ready he's against Faasuamaleaui who I rate as one of the best props running around and he ran for 171m last week. Lawrie v Joliffe pretty even there. Mbye v Verrills, I have no idea why our specialist hooker isn't starting so that's a worry. Bird v Liu I rate the latter above our touch footy specialist in the defensive category. We get no respite when the interchange forward Fotuaika comes on he ran for 164m last week. On paper we can't match them but we will see what apparently, according to Hunt, our united team can offer to restoring pride in our jersey and to silence the doubters. We'll the ball is now in the players court.

The ol saying forwards win matches backs by how much. Last year our defence was abysmal so this year our starting pack has two utilities with suspect defence and an aging makeshift backrower that is a bench prop at best. What is scarier is that jdb is our only injury and im sure the footy gods will hand us our fair share. Im hoping Couchman has a blinder so we got something to look forward to. Will be at the game cheering on regardless.

Your right we just can't recruit players that we really need because of our poor current club and team culture. We will not be playing semi finals football again this season or in the near future until we get our house in order.

Here's a thought if we manage to win today and by some miracle by 14 points we could be running 2nd at the end of this round, on the other hand if the Titans win by the same margin they will be winning the comp. Believe it or not. A Ripley's moment

FFS our KOE cup side is copping a flogging and JF got hammered by the Bulldogs as well, WTF is going on with those sides, especially the experience the KOE cup side has with NRL

It is obvious justa that our players are not up to scratch and the coaches aren't that much chop either. The first grade players will be under no pressure to do too much as their positions will be safe because the lower grade players wont get to push anyone out.

We really need a strong reserve grade to succeed in the top grade.
