Why would you have Menzies doing the tough carriers, thats what Carroll and Kite job was and whoever else they had there playing in the middle

To be fair Menzies became a great defender in the later 1/2 of his career as he developed. I dont see Fifita do much of either for such a man mountain

No I don’t think there a place anywhere near NRL for Moga in any position in 2023, his career is long finished, pick anyone with a heartbeat before Moga at this stage.

If Des does get the job I think that will be one of the first changes he makes and that is put Hunt at 9. Why would you not put the 2nd or 3rd best hooker in the comp in that role. I know he is up there for halves as well but hooker is a much more important role especially when you have a quality junior No.7 coming through. We all saw the Panthers against St Helens and how much they struggled without Korosai at hooker and it will take time for them to adapt. A good No.9 is so important in the NRL and Saints have one of the best going around. He will make Bud look sensational. 1.Sloan/7.Bud/9.Hunt. What a spine that would be.

If we held onto Robson, I would not be pushing for Hunt to play hooker however, we let Robson go and saw Mary's love child leave. This leaving us without a decent hooker.

With the young backline young guns coming through, I really can't see the reasoning for signing Moga up for 2023.

Agree. I did too. Tigs played like we do. Very little enterprise with the ball. The good teams play the game faster. Tits played well and will do us next weekend if they play the same.
