Gsme was well managed once we led.
Tirans struggled with their kicking gsme in the 2nd half
Liddle was great and the boppers were strong.
Stayed back after the gsme to skaje the boys hands after the game.
They took many photos before they were told to head to the sheds
And went to sude of the tunnel as Sutton went off.
Booed him up the tunnel and he gave me a stare as I thought he was harsh on us early.

Was it a disappointment more fans did not turn up? I remember my days being at Kogarah and it was standing room only. The last few seasons the ground appears to be sparsely populated especially the hill area.
Titans had barely any fans there.
Many weren't expecting much from us.
i was on the hill but people don't go for many reasons.
The teams below average seasons have alot to do with it.
Each to there own.

Ah the good old days of booing the ref. In my day it was Hollywood Hartley who had to be escorted up the tunnel by the local coppers.

Whilst I wont get carried away with the win, today was a good day and I'm grateful for any small mercies such as a Dragons win, our juniors got some much needed game time and built some confidence, our forwards ran hard, our defence needs some work, there were no major injuries and how good was it to have a speedy 9 and well done Liddle. To those of you who wanted Fafita here, just take note where his game went when the Titans were under the pump, he went missing in action, well and truly not worth the money we would have paid for him. Yes we will need to step our game up against the Broncs but as long as attitude is there i'll be happy. Sing the song proud tonight boys, well done !!!

Agree doesn't matter how good an individual player is it's his team mates that allow him to shine.

Yes it was, but the 6:15 Sunday evening is a crook time slot and we didn’t bring any form to the table. On the plus side there were a good number of kids with their families in the area not far from me. Seeing a win or two is very handy in creating fans

Excellent. Most games in my day were played at 3p on the weekend let's hope the faithful turn up next home game.

A good win to start our campaign, and to settle a lot of the off season jitters. We can most certainly build on that.

In 2023 I feel everything, above and beyond just winning the match, is going to count. Every metre, every tackle, every point. You won't be able to get away with missed tackles and lazy errors easily if at all.

Long way to go!
