And the Knights

http://www.theherald.com.au/story/12...udited/?cs=305

- Nothing sinister about being chosen first for auditing, say Knights
- Knights were 4th club audited, sources saying all 16 clubs will eventually be.
- Midley says he has absolute confidence in staff & players.
- Knights members chairman Nick Dan also says 'People of great integrity' are running the clubs operations.

N ot jsut yet Coolumn.
have a look at the timing of all this from the very top. First today that pathetci excuse for a prime minister calls the same, then one by one down the line the labor lackies follow suit.
Make no mistake, all of this is shaping up to be a labor political stunt.
I am with Wayne bennet on this who seems to have a good grasp on things. There wont be one criminal conviction.

This is the mug that is running this show. Jason Clare. here is an exert from the SMH
The next federal election campaign is going to be won or lost in south-west and western Sydney,'' says Labor's NSW general secretary, Sam Dastyari.

Man with a mission ... Home Affairs Minister Jason Clare. Photo: Tamara Dean
If so, the prognosis is poor. The death notice for the Gillard government has already been drafted by the voters of western Sydney, where it can expect to lose all six of its marginal seats on present polling, and perhaps some of its safer seats as well.

Western Sydney, once the pinnacle of Labor support, is now the sump, the lowest collecting point, where Tony Abbott is celebrated and Julia Gillard loathed. And the corruption hearings into former Labor politicians at the Independent Commission Against Corruption will play until election day like the soundtrack to The Godfather.
Voters in western Sydney, already resentful of being taken for granted by Labor, state and federal, for a generation, are angry about a lot of things. They seethe at the unchecked flow of boat people and they begrudge the rising cost of living, both of which are, at least, largely federal responsibilities. But they're also angry at lousy public transport, rotten roads, poor schools, an uncertain economic future and frightening levels of gun crime.

More from Clare
"And they've made the decision that this is so serious that it's necessary to get that information out to the public that there are some cases where the whole team has been doped.
Ok so lets look at that.
The federal justice minister is saying that entire teams in both competions have been entirely doped. So he can say doped(which in my day meant heroine) but he cant say what with or how? He cant say entire teams were doped with not-traceable HGH or peptides or perhaps cocaine? was it legal or illegal doping?

more from the same article
How can the Gillard government possibly arrest this apparent inevitability? This is where Clare comes in. Labor is lining him up to champion the interests of the people of western Sydney on the troubling problem of law and order, and the escalation in shootings in particular.
But street crime and policing are a state responsibility, so how does the federal Justice Minister play into this story?

So what might all of this mean? Well, if you look at Wilsons article here
At least two of the sports bosses who lined up alongside the Crime Commission and Government ministers at the mother of all media conferences on Thursday did so under great duress.

They said privately the whole thing was a "Kate Lundy special" alarmist, misleading and, most of all, based on flimsy evidence. link

Surely You would know better Quigs? Your Union mobs buddies were the main importers of heroine for decades through the wharves.
Doped meanin http://www.thefreedictionary.com/doped
1. Informal
a. A narcotic, especially an addictive narcotic.

Now I suggest yo ustay out of this conversation Quigs before you destroy it. The assertion that this is a labor political play is VERY VALID & being reported by numerous sources that im linking too. So if have nothing more to offer than your Qantas thread lies & regurgitated lefty extremist materials, then butt out.

Russell, from what I gathered this morning watching a long interview was that 6 NRL clubs have been officially notified by the ASDA ( the doping mob) that they have answers to make.

It could not be disclosed as to the exact nature of the Drug mobs claims but the Clubs involved have been notified of the details. They are expected to answer these details.

The Drug mob, what ever the bloody correct initials are have been investigating for over 12 months and a lot ofthe evidence obtained involved the use of legal phone taps.

From what I gathered from todays interview I watched there has been a lot a pressure put on certain people by the criminal element to play the game or else.

So it is not a beat up.

There is a lot to come out, rest assured.
