The idea that a team can be "due for a loss" is a myth people, please dont get sucked in by it. I've seen it bandied around town alongside its equally unattractive cousin "with each win you are closer to a loss". Time for some Adam and Jamie style myth-busting - both of these concepts are bullsh*t. They are merely a lame rationalisations uttered strictly by losers. Note: they are usually prefixed by "We tried our best" - and to quote Sean Connery from The Rock: "losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and f*ck the prom queen."
