No I don't believe people should apologise for a simple misunderstanding. Trust me I'm the worst person with social interactions so it happens a lot to me. I've ruined pretty much my entire online presence. Better to just be happy it was clarified and move on.

Hahahaha. Yes someone misunderstands a post and the other person needs to apologise.

For all of these d**kheads giving it to me because of what I wrote, grow the f**k up. If the shoe was on the other foot, e.g. mine, the reactions would be different. Yes it was a simple misunderstanding, which was made worse by the undeserved, reactions. It is great to see that narcissistic misogynistic behavior is alive and well.

He quoted the article. That's what the comment was about. The fact you originally posted the article is irrelevant. If you add context he was making a joke to @Smug Panther about Lang thinking Ivan is clever with the mind games when Smug calls Ivan out about how dumb it is constantly. Unless you ghost wrote the story for Peter Lang then I don't know how you could come to the conclusion it was a dig at you.

I know you have copped some shit from a few people on here, but this wasn't one of those times. If you have an issue with a post, use the report button and it will get sorted. Clogging up a thread with it just gets people more offside.

Thats the end of the subject in this thread, either take it to the dumpyard, or pm's.
He only did that after I challenged him.

Did what?

All I saw was he quoted your post with the story and tagged smug with the joke about being fooled by Ivans games. It was about Lang being fooled, not you.

It's no different than if you had posted a story about the Tyrone May scandal. If someone quoted your post with the story and commented "what an arse" They would obviously be talking about May, not you.

I shall put it this way, why didn't he write @peterlang, appears foolish? It is easy to see why I took it as an attack on me. Now that is all I am going to say. It is clear whose side that you're on.

I'm not on anyones side. I'm just calling it as I see it. Tagging Lang would be pointless. He is not on LU, not under his name in any case. It was pretty clear to most what he meant anyway.

OMFG. I give up.
You want me to lie and say I agree with you? You misunderstood his post, he clarified when questioned. What else do you expect to happen? He doesn't need to apologise because you misunderstood.

It would have though cleared up any missunderstanding.

Di and myself are oft the

butt of in blokey jokes, one earlier today '1847 posts and most of them of high

quality.' I have no idea whether it was meant as a sly dig or not. (but it has that ring about it)

soc123_au

Di and I are dealing with this type of rubbish almost very day. We are seemingly not 'allowed; to have a differing opinion without being pulled apart.

It get's very wearing.

I'll give an example yesterday Lamback (or Franklin) what ever his name is. Made a generalised comment that was clearly not correct.

I replies that the player in question has played some NRL, and didn't have zero nrl games.........

I was then somehow magically expected to know that Lamback was talking about centres......He didn't bother saying that in his original comment. Yet I am expected to know that.

Instead of saying yep I should have said centres, he proceeded to lay into me, for 'not knowing what I was talking about'.

and then it started.

There appears to be in 'old boys club' behaviour at times, and it's frustrating, because I feel at times my opinion (I can't speak for Di) are not given the same crediance as others because I am female.

Hence my frustration.

If I reveal my true feelings about @Iamback, aka, Franklin, I would receive a permanent ban.

I saw that one too. I don’t know what to say honestly. When I read that post I immediately knew he was talking about centres. That’s why when I made the sandwich joke I also said I thought you were being over sensitive. I know there have been instances where you and Di have been unfairly treated. I’ve also called out the poor behaviour when I’ve seen it.
I won’t pretend to understand what it’s like being a woman, or to be the victim of chauvinism. But I don’t think Franklin is the bad guy here. I only know him from his posts, but history tells me he isn’t an arse. Misunderstandings are going to happen, especially on a forum without the ability to hear tone or see facial expressions. Sometimes a deep breath, re read a page back for context is the best way before escalating things.

Normally I do not have any issues with you @soc123_au, and the same applies to @WestyLife. I do with @Iamback. Now I will leave this.
