I know nothing about Karma's background and he hadn't posted for some weeks. If my comment is if he alive or dead has other connotations which I am oblivious to, I apologise.

Anyway it was interesting that Johnsy recommended Stig to the Cowboys as he believes he has NRL potential. Hope it doesn't bite us back on the a$se considering our low stocks in the halves

Not a shot at you, just calling out how lame it is that joking about being in gaol caused 3 pages of crap, when the initial post mentioned death.

I don't think we are short of halves: Mullen/Dureau/Rogers/Ndaria/Kidley, we are short of quality halves.

Surely we must be keeping half an eye on both the Manly and Parramatta halves situation.

Parra have Mortimer, Robson, and Kris Keating. No doubt Mortimer is the long term plan in the 6, but it will be interesting to see who they don't pick in the 7. If Keating is languishing in Wenty colours he might be worth a look. Contract is up at the end fo '10 along with a bunch of others, unsure who they have who could play backup at 7 if he or Robson were to leave though.

Orford has left Manly which makes it harder to flog one of their halves, but they do have Foran, Hodgkinson and Cherry-Evans. Hopefully Des has a brain snap and forces Foran into the 7 with Bailey at 6. Would've been a poachers dream if Orford re-signed. *sigh*

That makes sence.... but our next signing will be an unproven promising second rower, a backup outside back or a prop past his peak or under an injury cloud.
