I don't think so.
i was passed on some info the other day that puts the entire Dykes/leaving the sharks/ Smith/Parra/half back/ in a new light.
Also Witt is physically larger than Dykes & is probably a bit better suited to that role.
There is still no team in the NRL that has a combination of 2 small halves.

I can give a hint. It has to do with a couple of players in a Souths team a fair while ago.
& a lot to do with Andersons approach to the make up of a backline.

When Dykes left he said that he wasn't suited Ando's flat style. I dunno how the ex Souths guys come into it but that was Dykes main reason for leaving. He wanted to play with a deep back line.

I'm upset we didn't retain guys like Brent Grose and Luke Stuart. We lost too many good players from 2001. We should have kept Martin Lang as well, but we played too hard-hardball, withdrew the offer and he had to go to Penrith for less than what we offered. We should've kept that on the table. Stevens, Nutley, Lang & Beattie. What a set of forwards!
