we'll give you Kurt gidley, and for a limited time only we'll throw in 1 George Carmont, 1 Kirk Reynoldson, 1 matt Kennedy and a set of steak knives.

(You'll find out what the steak knives are for when Benji gets injured and Kidley has to run the show)

So true about the set of knives!

 keep carmont indeed
that blokes a f**king nuffy, how he is in fg whilst brad tighe (assuming he isnt injured) rots away in PL is beyond me

Like him or not, he's been in top form this year.

Here's his stats in Round 2, against the Raiders, for example:

2 tries,
12 tackles,
1 mistackle,
2 line-breaks,
1 offload.

What were his stats last week minus Joey?

Not much you can do when your team gets belted 52-6, but his stats weren't terrible. They're not up yet, so I'll give you his stats the last time Johns didn't play, against the Warriors in Round 4:

8 hitups
99 metres
1 linebreak
23 tackles
4 mistackles
1 offload

Not a terrible performance by any stretch of the imagination.

4 missed tackes for a centre is poor, despite what you say and my bet (I actually did not see the game) is that a couple directly led to tries!

Round 5, 2005 vs Rabbitohs:

Justin Hodges

11 tackles
5 mistackles

Yet he should be in the Australian side?

Wasn't Hodges injured in Round 6...so he's played 1 game since...thats a compelling argument dude. Look at his stats for 1 game...

P.S If i was picking the test team Hodges would be in it. Just not a fan of your method of argument.

You can have Corey Hughes. He is a gun half. Consider it a generous gesture from the dogs. Just dont let him attempt his special 40/20.

Sheens would get more out of Kidley than Hagan has ever done.

Not saying that he would be a world beater but perhaps a better player.

I don't doubt that Kidley has talent, but like most Knights fans we just don't believe he's a playmaker and the fact that Hagan persists in trying to force him into that mould has us now calling for blood.

I think he'd be a great aquisition for the Tigers and would probably excell under the guidence of Sheens but if you're looking to sign him as a replacement to Prince you'd be deluding yourselves.

The only advantage to playing him in the halves is that he's a great defender and would tighten up defense in the middle of the ruck and generally leads the line down during the kick-chase but has a limited kicking game and appears to struggle when passing to his left with dubious ability to think and formulate a game plan on his feet.

Sign him up, get him in the centres (or lock) and watch him shine.

We don't need centres, nor do we need a lock.

We are after a genuine replacement for Prince - hence this is why I think we should be looking elsewhere.
