What i meant by my post was Wallace getting hurt and missing the real football. Rein is an awful player

I will hold you to this statement. He is far from awful. He is going to put enormous pressure on Peter Wallace and it wouldn't surprise me if he becomes our number 1 hooker.

Happy to be held to it. He cant pass and has been a major part in how shit the Merge have been the last few years. Very happy to be proven wrong on this but it wont happen

You've been too influenced by the crap spewed out by Dragons supporters on there forum.

Give the guy a chance. I am more than happy for Peter Wallace to start as first choice, retain his position if he is doing the business and hopefully Rein will be putting pressure on him all the way.

There were lot's of reasons why the Dragons haven't performed as well as there fans would have liked and yes he obviously fell out of favour at the club but I don't think he played a major role in there under performance. They simply haven't had the players, particularly the halves and probably the coach who has been far to defensive in his game plans.

I can see Blake and Edwards causing damagw out wide on the end of Cleary cut out passes and kicks.

Not the strongest possible squad. But stronger than I expected. Tamou and Cleary especially are risky choices.

Yeo was pretty quick to name Dyl Edwards as a standout young guy over the offseason when asked, he said he's a phenomal athlete and is expecting big things. Been a lot of praise for Edwards over the offseason.

The Edwards or TMM decision will have to be made in the future. How long are both under contract?

I think TMM could become a utility and both could fit in along with Moylan and DWZ. I think he could cover halves, centres and hooker well enough. But obviously he wouldnt be happy with that.

But realistically its not often we have our top 17 all available anyway. Look at 2016... we thought fitting Blake in would be impossible with signing Hiku. He played nearly every game because we always had atleast one spot open though injury.

Edwards is a half or FB. Will be good to see him on the wing to see if he has skills there. I'd play Ratu on the wing over him so far but this is what 9's are perfect for. Seeing what the young guys have

Has Ratu even played NSW cup yet? He'd be a fair bit behind Edwards in the pecking order even for a wing spot.

I am not aware of the injury status of our squad at present other than the obvious ones. Interesting that Michael Oldfield not selected in 9's squad. I know he was only signed as depth and unlikely to feature unless we have a number of injuries in outside backs (not just Mansour) but I would have thought he would have been picked if fit. There is not a lot of specialist outside backs in the 9's squad.

He played a few games last year. If not for his passport issue he'd be playing in the 9's. I'd say Ratu and MWZ will be the wingers in the Bulldogs trial. So we will see where they stand then I guess

Has he had a minor injury? We only picked players that haven't missed any training. I would of though him and Langi would of played

I don't know whether he has an injury or not. Even if fit he is only likely to be fifth or sixth in line for a wing spot even with Mansour unavailable.

Would be even more reason to play him. The Parra trial will be close to our round 1 side. So these 1st 2 weeks will help to rank the rest
