I'll tell you after I see him play a few games at 7.

Im not sure we will get to see him play too many. Surely Sandow was just late for training or something like Loko?

Has anyone 'in the know' heard anything???

I've got plenty wrong but not this one. Sandow is a garbage halfback and I knew Ricky would find out sooner or later even though Ricky earlier in the season said that he would make Sandow smile again.

Mate, I agree with all your thoughts on Sandow, but I still dont think having two players in the halves that are not part of Sticky's plans in 2014 ahead of Sandow is also not the best option.

Sandow's last tackle options in attacking positions have been woeful lately. You can't blame the forwards for that. He never seems to think 2 plays ahead like a good halfback should.

Kelly is under contract for next year. He doesn't have to go anywhere.

I personally think given the players we have in the backline next year that Kelly could potentially be a better option as a 7 than Sandow, but I also dont neccessarily have alot of confidence in that comment until I can see it in reality. Im not sure we are going to get a good guide of how Kelly is going to go as the sole organising player for this week, but I guess we are going to find out. He could have worse teams to try it against.

I just cannot see Kelly being given the gig long term with Sandow still at the Club and I cannot see him being offloaded/punted anytime soon.

Stuart has ar$e f**ked most halfbacks that he has come in contact with as a coach. It doesn't take a genius to suggest that at some point Stuart might have issues with his halfback!

Not saying I'm a genius Gaz. Just saying that Sandow is not the future and that Stuart will eventually realise that. Stage 1 is complete.

If Sandow isn't the future who is?

Norman isn't a halfback and neither is Hayne. I still think Kelly can be a decent halfback but I think Sandow is the better option.

This reeks of Stuart struggling to work with a halfback once again.

Colonel,

Don't you think that Hodkinson would be a better fit for Norman than Sandow?

Fair enough mate.

I sincerely hope he gets a chance to play behind a strong Parra pack. If he gets rissoled before that happens then we will never really know how he would have performed under those circumstances at Parra. If it is anything like how he played at Souths then that would be good enough for me.

Wasnt it mentioned in the paper that we tried to offload him but he is on a heavily back ended deal? Seriously, who are we going to be able to offload him too?

The only option I can think of is Wallace to Penrith, Sandow to the Broncos. Other than that I dont think anyone else is in position to take him off our hands and although I dont like to agree with Pou, were not going to be paying a bloke that much to consistently have him playing for Wenty.

No shame in agreeing with Pou every now and then.

In fairness to Stuart Sandow isnt a traditional organising halfback so Im not surprised Sticky hasnt got what he wanted out of him so far.

Sam Williams and Trent Hodkinson I think are 'better fits' with our team we are going to have for next year, but what do you do with Sandow? Unless we can find someone to take his contract over we are pretty much stuck with him.

Who have since replaced him and virtually him only and have hardly lost a game.

They moved Inglis to fullback, Burgess to the middle, and got rid of Dave Taylor, who, along with Feleti Mateo, is the worst defensive edge forward in the NRL.

Three big changes that benefitted the team.
