Who does everyone think will last longer, Sandow or Sticky?

I cannot believe Sticky is banking his entire coaching career on a bloke in the 7 who cannot play half-back.

No other club scored as many points as Souths in Sandow's final three years at the club.

They must have had a decent halfback.

Sandow was ok last night - his defence has improved. Bit hard for sandow to show anything when we spent half the night coming of our own try line. He aren't the one dropping balls, giving away stupid penalties, missing easy tackles (cough Reni, Paulo, Roberts ) or losing the ruck. Once we fix all that up then he can be judged.

Also we are judging sandow but look at the spine he is in, Keating , mullany and Paulo - what half back would excel in a spine like that on top of your forwards losing the battle in the middle ?

Bit hard to blame Sandow when he was only player out there with any sort of creative ability, I mean they knew to pressure Sandow because no one else was capable of doing anything. Plus it's a bit hard when the opposition are making 70m every set while you are kicking on your 30 with guys in your face after the turtle has lobbed another rock in your direction.

I'd kill to have Trent Hodkinson back in the side tbh. But there'd be no point in having him unless we could address our issues in the ruck first.

Souths lost more games than they won in each of those 3 seasons and have since hardly lost a game in the 2 seasons since.

They must not have had a decent halfback when Sandow was there then.

Sandow does well in a good team. We are not a good team.

You could argue that he had a good team, certainly good players, alot of the time he was at Souths, but if that's as good as he has got what he offered at Souths then that will do me...

You obviously don't rate him, plenty of good judges do. I think if he had Thurston or Cronk's attitude and professionalism, he'd be one of the top halves.

Its a redundant argument with him Chipmunk. He's not interested in the reality of wins and losses, just the breakdown of stats.

2 years of consistent losing there's no belief in each other. Hard to direct a team around the field when no one has any confidence in what anyone else is doing out there. Everyones playing unaccountable.

Worst high profile signing since Adam Dykes.

Probably because we haven't really made any high profile signing since Adam Dykes, though I'd argue Timana Tahu the second time, Justin Poore and Willie Tonga were all worse signings than Sandow.
