Tell me the name of an All Black forward in the last 100 years that had as much ability as Sonny Bill???

Michael Jones, Zinzan Brooke, Colin Meads, Sean Fitzpatrick to name 4.

Remember that Brad Thorne walked into the All Black side and he never had half the ability of Sonny Bill.

No he didn't.
The four blokes you named would be lucky to run out of sight on a dark night.LOL.
Only kidding, they were all very good Union players, but I seriously doubt any of them had the attributes to make it in League.I can`t see how Sonny Bill wouldn`t be an All Black within a year if he did decide to make the switch.Jerry Collins should switch to League,he would make a huge impact, but Union doesn`t suit his aggressive style of play.Same with Butch James.

Are you calling those 4 black? Colin and Sean aren't...

Those 4 players would dominate in Rugby League. They were hard as nails, and were respected by every opponent they played against. To say they wouldn't make in league is an absolute one eyed remark and I hope to hell that you get your f**king head out of your ass.

Sonny Bill won't make the All Blacks in a year because the SHOULDER CHARGE is illegal in Union.

Yawnion crowds are rubbish considering there's only three Aussie teams, just think if there was only three Nrl teams????? Every game would be a sellout.
Look at the crap talent theve got, 3 teams with crap players, look at how much more talented League players are, make 3 teams out of all the Nrl clubs and they would blow that Onion crap to mars.

What is Yawnion?

Rubbish? The average Super 12 Crowd for 2004 was 24,956. That collectively beats the Rugby League average crowd.

just think if there was only three Nrl teams

Then Rugby League would be dead.

Every game would be a sellout.

   You can't sell out Semi Finals....

Look at the crap talent theve got, 3 teams with crap players

Every single Australian Super 12 Player from positions 10 - 15 would make it in Rugby League. Most 6/7/8 as well. The other positions are Union specific.

look at how much more talented League players are

Enough talent that the two bottom teams won 11 games between them in over 40 matches...

make 3 teams out of all the Nrl clubs and they would blow that Onion crap to mars.

Those 3 teams are called NSW QLD and NZ.... Of course they would beat Union players at League, but not at Union. What is Onion?

Saying Sonny Bill would walk into an All Black side is like saying a kiwi union player would walk into the Kangaroos. Sure it might happen after some serious exeprience playing the game at club level, but to walk in straight away is nonsense.

And aggregate crowd-wise?

Averaging 24k when there's only 21 matches per year isn't really a stretch is it?

Try doing it for 7 matches per week over 26 rounds, then come back with your average. Christ, do it now, pick Union's top 182 matches this year.

just think if there was only three Nrl teams

So Union is dead?

It's only got 3 teams in this context.

Every game would be a sellout.

How many people went to the S12 semis in Australia this year?

Compare that to the NRL semis/GF.

Look at the crap talent theve got, 3 teams with crap players

Now look who's talking crap. The three players who'd make it in League are Rogers, Tuqiri and sailor. and I wouldn't put money on Sailor making a successful return. He's gone downhill fast.

look at how much more talented League players are

How many matches did the bottom australian S12 side win this year?

Why did you say that, it's totally irrelevant.

make 3 teams out of all the Nrl clubs and they would blow that Onion crap to mars.

Do you need to look up the crowds for SOO?

Or the ratings?

Goose.

Get real.

Three words for you...

Sailor, Tuquiri, Rogers.

Have a look at the Queensland RU team & tell me which of their backs backs would make the Broncoss or Cowboys' first grade side. For instance in the centres the Broncos have Tate & Berrigan (both current internationals) while the Cowboys have Hannay & Bowman (both have played SOO).

There might be winger who is a bit better than Stuart Kelly who has seen better days but both Matt Sing & Ty williams are a class above anything union can produce in this state.

Have a look at the NRL rejuects in the union squads-Eli Tuquri, Milton Thiaday, Elton Flattely-the list goes on.

Ben Tune would make a wing spot.
Chris Latham would be an outside back.
Flatley sh*ts all over Myles.

They would all succeed in league.

From ACT:

Gregan may make it
Larkham would be a 5/8 in most sides
Giteau would be a 5/8 in most sides
Mortlock would make it in the centres
Both Gerrard and Rathbone would make it on the wing/centre/fullback
Roff would make it in league as well.

That's their whole backline

Steve Kefu, Drew Mitchell, Chris Latham would make the Souths FG team.

Elton Flatley was never a Leaguie, so could never have been a League reject. Using your analogy lets look at union rejects in NRL,: Sam Harris, Braith Anasta, Craig Wing and Ryan Cross.

Blacklock is humongously successful in league, yet he struggled to hold a place on the Waratahs bench.
