Nutley loves the jersey though so we'll see
Is Nutley for Thompson a zero sum gain or what?
Except you'd be swapping a passionate Shark for a passionate Dragon

dou·ble-en·ten·dre (dŭb'əl-än-tän'drə, dū-bläN-täN'drə) pronunciation
n.

1. A word or phrase having a double meaning, especially when the second meaning is risqué.
2. The use of such a word or phrase; ambiguity.

[Obsolete French : double, double + entendre, to mean, interpretation.]

You KNOW you have posted many a rumour with no subject other than a vague reference or double meaning

FESS UP!!

:)

FTR I support Nuffs 100%. We went through this same argument earlier in the year. If you people want news from some of the posters who can get it then you should respect that sometimes news can't just be given out. If a source asks me NOT to post here I NEVER do. EVER. I wouldn't have any sources before long if I didn't respect their wishes not to be named or not to let something out.

Oh and beeker, don't sit in your ivory tower. There's been many a time you have gone the old double entendre yourself :)

What is the point of having sources if you can't use them? If we are going to here about news 24hrs later in the papers whats the difference? If you choose not to use them that is your choice, but why start a thread on it only to say, oh but I can't tell you anything.
I think there are a few blokes in here talking up thier "sources" a bit to much!

Not as yet...I dont understand why the club would be trying to release him, stevo is gone and we would have the qld front row. It doesnt make sense. If they want to get rid of a prop then get rid of Maiva and if money is a problem piss off Loo Loo as well, they are only boderline 1st graders. not Nuts.

Of course I have ! Like I said, move over a bit, it's gettin squashy in the Ivory Tower :)

BUt you missed my point completely mate, I wasnt upset or having a go at NUffs one bit, read back through the thread from start to finish and you'll see my jibes were directed at Special K , who for some bizzarre reason went off at me for daring answer the musings of nuffs with a player name, infact I do believe I answered with a DOUBLE ENTENDRE ! ( " Oh, Nuts , I have a feeling pogo is going to be happy" ) or words to that effect. :)

I might drop clues, butI don't get all uppity and upset when someone guesses correctly like special K did.

Tye the thing is with our club it is far more important to play the game off the field than to be good at playing the on field game.

That's why players like Nuts can be let go and players like Simmo can keep their spot no matter what.

Performance off the field is what counts. And that means being from the right school, not rocking the boat and being one of the pets.

this is quite f**ked if it's true.

Personally living 1000km from the sharks and whats going on down there, Im just thankfull for every scrap of gos I can get from them.

I can understand why people would be hesitant to tell the whole story if they have been told not too.

That said if people want to pm me any goss they get I can keep a secret;)

I'm sure you can. But you will probably tell another friend in confidence, because you trust him so much...a little "I'm not supposed to tell you this but..." thing going on.

All is well, but then he goes and tells a friend he can trust who keeps it under lock and key...aside from his good mate Bill, who is a total blabber mouth. All of a sudden the Daily Telegraph jumps on it and the player in question has only ever told one person...all of a sudden, that bloke is in the dog sh*t.

Everybody can keep a secret. Everyone also has the potential to tell that secret to somebody else.

I've never named a source, or named a name whether I was asked not to or not. I've only ever spilled the beans if it was to another member of this forum that I respect or could potentially have something to tell me in the future, or has told me in the past.

well living on the Coast I unfortunately don't have any friends that support the sharkies so the only people I talk to about them are on here. I can understand where your coming from though ghotti.

board meeting today to "discuss" the situation
shame that he's already packing his bags.

and yes frenzy, stuey is supposedly filthy about the situation. which leaves aaron...well he is just a Flegg coach anyway

anyone got the leader yet? rogers has told them. although the story still may be held over until the personal issues are sorted out

If it is Nuts maybe his getting out before they do what they did to Peachey toss him out like a dirty old rag. Not much loyality in NRL it's all about money, stuff the fans. I hope it's not NUTS. Rogers seems to be a control freak.
