p30 - legend q&a with schifilitti. this brought back memories of that melbourne semi when we had enough breaks to win 3 games and jason smith stuffed up the pass for what should've been the winning try.

p41 - from the sheds - not only is inu staying this year but the club have started negotiating for beyond. and mortimer isn't worried about 2nd year syndrome.

p46 - nsw cup preview - coach's player to watch - blake blackburn. apparently "he's a good young front rower and .... daniel anderson was impressed with how he went in our trials. if he keeps improving you may see his name mentioned in the nrl 17." - does anyone know much about this guy? might be one to keep tabs on during the season.

Blackburn came back to the club after a year in Qld Cup. Was in the Penrith Jersey Flegg side in 2006 that knocked off the more fancied Newcastle side. Played 2007 and 2008 with us.

Blackburn is another worth checking out, he's your typical hard nosed old fashion meat head who likes to rip in the opposition.

Wenty drew with Balmain 20 all (5 tries all)

Blake Blackburn, Nathan Armit, Danny Howard, Mark Lulland and Mark O'Grady all had big games from what I saw although I did leave at half time.

Blake is definitely worth watching...

he's a Penrith junior who played a season with us in jersey flegg before he went to Queensland for a couple of years.
