Might just add that I find it disturbing that Brad Arthur's name has even been suggested. It would be a dumb move bringing in somebody from the Kearney era, especially a guy who hasnt been tried at first grade coaching.

The players have no right to tell the board what coach to appoint after the year they had. Any player not happy with Jason Taylor should be shown the door. I wouldnt care who they are.

The players probably have a better idea of who can motivate them than the board would.

if he is that bad a coach why did manly hire him?
p.s. he has coached first grade before he took over when kearney left for the last six games

I thought you would be a good choice to coach us JT, but the more you talk about yourself in the third person the less i think you are suitable. By the way it must have p*ssed you off no end that someone was already using the Jason Taylor handle on the forum.

Shak is entitled to his opinion and actually makes some valid points. Taylor is without doubt the best credentialed assistant coach out there and now has a premiership under his belt.

I'm happy with Arthur, I was one of the few last year who wanted him to be appointed head coach.
Jason Taylor will always be my first choice of course, I can see him coaching the Dragons in 2015 if he misses out on the Eels job once again. I really can't see Steve Price surviving another season.

Why are you worried? You already know that JT is getting the job, right?

None of the coaches Parra are looking at has done much. Why not let Price have a go. He at least has the best interest of the club at heart.

Why not???? Cannot do any worse than so-called "MODERN" failures we have had to put up with. These legends knew how to win!!!Price, Kenny & Cronin & Directed by Sterling??? What a team!!!

Modern day coaches are not working Steve, what Parra needs is a complete change of thinking, some older values may help a club that has lost it's way and unable to compete at any level in the NRL

it would be typical Parramatta to go after the assistant coach that came second as opposed to the one that came first who might add has a brief yet solid coaching record.

This Arthurs guy on another note was also assistant coach to a team which was highly regarded as one of the worse coached teams in NRL history....

For the likes of our club, yeah very hard decision, i dare say Sharpy would have a slab of VB on his desk as we speak, feet on the table and burp and farting at the same time thinking which way to roll...
