My biggest concern is that the players have stated who they want and who can obviously motivate them, yet the board ignores their opinions.

Who should be blamed if Taylor fails ?

The board should be supporting the CEO for whom they voted and they should also be supporting their players.

i think df might still have his arm up sharp's arse. when i've seen the two together i haven't head sharp talk while df is drinking something.

i prefer jt as head coach but won't be disappointed if arthur gets the job. not sure if sharp's opposition to jt stems from that incident back in 07 when df said taylor would never be coach of the eels.

I don't have an issue with the board being divided over a coach. Democracy is what a board is all about and it's certainly not in "turmoil".

However this Chairman and the one before that and the one before that don't seem to get it. The Telecrap will spin no matter what you say to the negative. The more we are in "crisis" the better for them.

There was division at Raiders over the appointment of Sticky and their Chairman even resigned because if it. They however were not in turmoil or crisis.

Sharp is dumb for trusting the staff of News that they would print anything in a positive light. I hope he learns from this and allows the CEO to be the only person to make comment.

I'll support whoever they put in charge, I prefer Taylor and that may be a sentimental thing but if Arthur is put in charge I'll be excited too, the players at the Eels and Manly like him so that is a good start!

Either of them will make me feel better than SK or Sticky ever did, didn't like either appointment at the respective times they happened.

Up until now I have admired sharp's honesty and passion when speaking with the media, but I'm flabbergasted he has come out and said this. What a total shambles.
