One of the toughest players I have ever seen But after seeing the interview on foxsports.com I am concerned about his state of mind.

After what he had to say about both Arthur and Taylor, whichever of them gets the job should brush him completely.

Stay out of the sheds, stay away from training, no cuppas at the footy office, just piss right off.

The process wasn't that hard........

1. Appoint the CEO (done)
2. Appoint the GM Football
3. Appoint the Coach

Ideally, the coach should have been appointed in the lead up to the Grand Final. The media hype gets sucked up in the GF hype, and come today when the GF hype calms down, the message is simply 'we have a head coach, we're getting on with the job'. Instead, Parra is now the news cycle in a week where there's no football news (I guess we should the thanking SBW for giving them something else to write about).

Sharp was, quite simply, dumb to do what he did. If Taylor gets the gig, Sharp's position is bordering on untenable. Trying to manipulate the board decision via the media is amateur hour.

I am very confused. When we first heard rumours that Ricky Stuart might be getting set to leave the club, didn't Steve Sharpe come out and say something along the lines of ...."Well, he can leave if he wants to - we'll just get a replacement. Jason Taylor at Easts is probably the best credentialed at this stage." He then went on to make it pretty clear that he was a Jason Taylor admirer. Why would he now change his position and vote for Arthur? I don't get it. Something fishy here.

In my first post that you called a contradiction I was stating the press are full of shit but they were quoting someone who is not from the press, our chairman, and quoting someone who didn't actually say something is misrepresentation.

In my second post my point was that they were doing what they thought was best (sticking to their guns about their preferred coach) but the fact they are totally divided and making the point public knowledge is not in the best interests of the club at all.

Does that bring things down to your level?
