Hey Guys i was browsing the Dragons forum and came across this: http://www.ourredv.com/OurRedV/Home.html

Would love to see an Eels Army similar to the Dragons army 'Our Red V'

These guys travel to nearly every game and there is a huge number of them. What would it take for us to do something like this?

Would love to see a bunch of passionate Eels supporters always sitting together.

If this was to ever happen, we would need people like HJ, Jess, Nikki, WC, Hellsy etc onboard.

I guess the best attempt we've had is 'the swamp'

Mate, its a dream of all of ours. I think the Tigers game at the SFS was a step in the right direction. Things have been tried and failed in the past for several reasons. I think the first step of running a sucessful group would be for all individuals to leave their ego's at the door. But that is just my opinion. As someone mentioned in another thread, baby steps.

It's is near impossible to do at home games, but for away games I definitely think it should be considered.

Kudos to these guys for organising such a successful mob, and as I've mentioned in another thread, good harmless support for their team.

A lack of beards being primary amongst those reasons.

And replace them with beards.

Seriously - We're Blue & Gold, Bearded & Bold. Has a beautiful ring to it, doesn't it?

Yeah you see bloody Dragon jerseys everywhere! Saw them at the Sydney Olympics, Australian Open (Tennis) and no joking coming out of an Andrea Bocelli concert

first of all we all need to lose jobs, go on dole and convert to boganism and then we can become like the Dragons army.

And maybe forgiveness for previous sins... 2001 was fantastic for the supporters we had that travelled to games. I still remember those silly sharks supporters turning it on at the end of the game after they'd been belted.

Though the hill helped at home games.

I think they also need to see about packaging the supporter bus to away games with tickets in the same area. seems a bit silly to me to run a bus then the supporters go their seperate ways.
