Weedlier exclusive - "Too many Polynesian players" according to past players.

This quote is actually very very true. How do I know? A 'former Eels player' who is heavily involved in the District Club said it to me in person at a Junior League event only 2 weeks ago.

And there has been mention of a split at Board Level. The same former players words were "keep an eye out for an interesting Ticket at the next Election"

It sounds like a throwaway comment that appears very ignorant from an ex player. It's not really newsworthy. If Danny Weidler found out a former NRL player was making his kids dinner and under-cooked the sausages he'd still find a way of turning that into a news story.

I disagree with that. The coach and the players should be the only ones to have any say in who should they think the right person to be captain is. That is something the board should have nothing to do with. They're not involved enough to make such decisions.

I agree that the board should stay out of those matters but In general I think it's a good idea to change captain
