Congratulations to Tyrell and Alex on their selection for NSW. Tyrell also made his NYC debut this round while Alex has been playing in the Sydney Shield after the completion of Parra's SG Ball campaign.

Tyrell has also earned selection in the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges 18s squad.

Played well. Came up with the intercept when the cowboys were coming back to swing momentum back out way.

But as you said not many clear standouts when it wasn't the best performance

The score is very very kind to our guys tonight.

I'm sure it was Newbigging that took the intercept. I don't remember Tepai taking any.

f**k...wish I could get out to see Tyrell's debut!

He was so powerful in his running game and constantly broke the line down the left side. I'm sure he'll be even stronger when he gets more experience and next year when he is of age to make the starting 13 at second-row

Fuimaono out, with SG Ball centre Tui Oloapu making his debut. Also Kamikamica back in the team.

Because f**k the NYC cap! Seriously though, would be interesting to see how the club resolved the apparent issue.

Tui will be a good addition to the team and they will certainly need all the grunt they can get with Tanginoa's promotion.

I would say one or more members of the NYC squad have been upgraded so they no longer fit under the NYC cap. This would also free up space I reckon.

Great news to see both Tui's in the team...

Both players will add a shit load of quality to the side

It isn't raining yet but the weather is pretty depressing near Homebush. Hopefully the rain holds off for both grades but that might be a tad too optimistic.

Our Holden Cup team should be bolstered by the late additions of Fabian Goodall and Tepai Moeroa, who were missing in action during the NSW Cup fixture yesterday. Goodall will likely replace one of Levi Li or Tui Oloapu while Moeroa should come into the starting backrow to replace Jordan Muna, who will in turn drop back to the bench and force one of Tui Kamikamica or Jack Anderson out of the team.

The Dogs are struggling in 2014, running equal last (with the Titans) in the NYC with just two wins to their name. This should be a relatively simple win but with Ryan Matterson, John Folau and Kelepi Tanginoa missing, this game could be closer than expected. With that said, our 20s have shown some reassuring grit over the last four games so I'll back them to take the win today.

A number of changes for the 20s:

Goodall replaces Li
Moeroa pushes Muna to the bench.
Bush replaces Lussick who is out of the game.

Parramatta receive the kick off and roll towards half way via simple ruck work. Dockar-Clay bombs it on the last and the Dogs' fullback takes it awkwardly but secures it nonetheless.

The Eels put together a good set of defence in return and the set culminates in the Dogs kicking the ball out on the full near halfway.

Moeroa takes throws the second man ball to Makelim who runs the wide angle. The Dgos are in two minds and Makelim decides to run and look for an optimistic offload to Goodall. Makelim loses control of the ball and the Dogs get a lucky break.

Canterbury scrum 20m from their goal line.

The Dogs work the ball down our left edge, with out too great an impact but a solid charge from their #10 on the fourth tackle carries them into our half for the first time today.

They stab the ball in over Goodall head on the last and the Parra winger lets it roll into touch.

Parra scrum 10m out from their goal line.
