I hope you all followed the Lemon in? $$$

Also we are morals to win the comp if we put our strongest side on the park during the finals, that was almost a C team yesterday and they still almost knocked off the knights, who are now on top of the ladder.

LOL, google alerts sent me to an article about Eels player Ryan Matterson.

VIDEO. NRL - Billy Kitt K-O à cause du fessier musclé de Ryan Matterson
En savoir plus sur http://www.lerugbynistere.fr/videos...-matterson-0207141717.php#LR0f2bFqjjHf1li5.99

I popped the page into google translate and it offered this:-

(not my bolding)

When discussing a knockout rugby, you immediately think of a big impact between two players on a plating poorly negotiated by the defender or in a duel in the air. It is much more rare to see one day lose consciousness due to a collision with a ... rash. The Parramatta Eels player Billy Kitt had the honor to experience this new type KO upon impact with the Melbourne Storm player Ryan Matterson, or rather his left buttock, on the occasion of a Holden Cup meeting. Kitt who came to free his camp certainly did not expect to be hit by a post as muscular. With slow, aware of the impact it takes a lot more thanks to the waves causes the encounter between the cheek and buttock.

Plenty of clubs keep their best under 20s out of NYC. I don't think Bryce Cartwright has played 20s this year and he's still eligible.

A raft of reinforcements for our NYC team.

Tyrell Fuimaono is unavailable for selection as he is currently attending the Australian Schoolboys carnival.

*Edit* - Nathan Davis was suspended for a dangerous tackle in the Rd.16 game against the Knights. I'm not sure how long the suspension is for.

The GIO Schoolboys Cup is on Fox Sports 1 with Hunter Sports High taking on Westfield Sports High.

Westfield features a number of Parra SG Ball talent for those that are interested.

Doolan (who is playing at fullback) just crossed for a pretty simple try by running an overs slant with a right arm fend down the left edge to lock the scores up at 16-all.

He then converts his own try to give Westfields the two point lead.

Cameron King just laid on a massive hit before Westfields force a turnover and then a subsequent penalty.

Jason Vidal takes the ball down the right edge and throws the dummy, slicing through the sliding line.

Doolan converts.

Westfields lead 24-16

Westfields make it back-to-back tries as Vidal cuts the Hunter line to pieces once again. He has the fullback to beat but with his #12 pushing up in support he lays on a try assist.

Doolan converts.

Westfields lead 30-16.

Westfields nearly make it three back-to-back tries as a left edge shift to Benjamin Suli (sp?) unleashes the flying winger and only a desperate last second tackling attempt from one of their back three forces him into touch just 1m short.

Hunter then proceed to lose the ball and one of the Westfield backrowers (a Rooster SG Ball player) crashes over a few tackles later.

Doolan converts.

Westfield lead 36-16.

Oh dear, Hunter are imploding here as they knock on in their dead ball zone and gift Westfield a line drop out.

Cameron King trundles in towards the posts and has the ball stripped from his possession. Penalty to Westfields.

King takes the run from the tap restart but loses the ball the second time around.

Hunter don't take long to turn the ball back over as a loose pass is swooped upon by the Westfields #4.

Westfields drive the ball towards the right edge and look for Doolan to thread a kick in on the sweep but it picks up a friendly deflection for Hunter and they survive the raid.

They fail to complete another set as the rf pulls them up for a forward pass on halfway.

Vidal is pinged for a forward pass. Marginal call but not a howler from the ref by any means.

Typically, the Westfields team is ridiculously stacked. Just about every player that Vossy names is linked to a strong SG Ball squad.

Doolan fields a Hunter chip kick nicely before stealing some handy metres. A cut out ball down the right edge then puts another Parra junior, Mark Griffiths, into space. Griffiths is caught of the try line and Westfields centre the ball as Doolan shapes up for a field goal.

The attempt is pretty shonky and finds the right post before coming back into the field of play. The Westfield chasers are offside and Hunter pick up a much needed penalty.

Hunter get one last chance at scoring as they pick up a penalty as the full-time siren rings out.

They find touch 20m out from the Westfields' try line and spin the ball to the right. They have an overlap but the flick ball from centre to winger is too low and rolls into touch.

Full Time

Westfields dft. Hunter 36-16

Strong games from Doolan and Vidal from what I saw while King and Griffiths both had some good moments.
