Anyone here think we can get a player into the NYC team of the year? I'm calling it early but I think Tepai Moeroa has a big chance. Fabian Goodall has a chance on the wing as does Nathan Davis at centre.

Big ask on our first year boys Moeroa and Davis, think they will need time to settle and adjust. Goodall is a chance and surely Pauli and Kaysa should they play enough games would be a strong chance too. Folau a possibility too.

Dockar-Clay must be a chance. He might have too many flaws to ever become a first grader, but with his speed and footwork he has the ability to dominate at NYC level.

Haven't seen Davis play? What's good about his game?

Get excited, get very excited.. The kid is a tall lanky centre who can sniff out a try from anywhere, great on his feet and good hands, he's got some decent bloodlines, he's related to former Souths players paul Roberts remind me a lot of Ben smith at that age but a better player all round

I like the sound of this Davis kid. If he's as half as good as his uncle Josh Davis, then we've got a winner.

Blacktown Pats school 4 pm. U14 Development - bottom field , Harold Matts - top field

6pm. U 15 development - bottom field. , SG ball - top field

All against the Panthers , so should be good trials. U 15 will be tough as 16 players eligible are playing in the Matts trial. Matts team may need some time to gel given they have a number of younger players that are still waiting on final cut

Penrith won the 1st 18s game by 12-4..

Bevan French played 1 in the first half and was relatively quiet but had some nice touches

A 2nd 18s game just started
