To be correct neither made both Oz league and union.

Tepai as mentioned made Oz schools union and NSW 18s although withdrew from NSW 18s due to school union commitments.

Lussick made Oz schools league and Oz A union, which is a seconds team to give tour teams extra games. Lussick withdrew from Oz A union due to clash with Oz league.
There were also better halves in the Oz A and Oz union teams and Lussick knew he would have a better chance in the league to get some game time. Lussick can only pass one way which won't help further his career

Needs to fill out? He's 97kg.

Yes. He has a wiry frame. 97 kg at 6'4" is average weight on height weight charts. League players need greater bulk for the collisions. Put it this way if it was Pauli or Moeroa hitting Davis in defence on an edge at their size would not be good for Davis long term.

But over 190 cm and still growing - think of POH, they are around the same height

Difference between POH and Davis is that Davis is a centre. I think he could play at around 103kg but then I guess as one of the posters put it he will grow naturally. With a proper diet and weight program this weight will be easily put on

Penrith won the 1st 18s game by 12-4..

Bevan French played 1 in the first half and was relatively quiet but had some nice touches

A 2nd 18s game just started
i am an enormous bevan fan. i think by season's end he could not only set the nyc alight, he could successfully play nrl, a bit like milford for the raiders. another mistake by titans recruitment. he wanted to play to play where uncle presto played but they must not have shown enough interest!

They did show interest and I believed was invited to tour their training facilities

Saw on TheFilthySpammers that Latham might play in the props this year. I really hope not, although we are 1 prop down of a 4 prop rotation but I hope that it isn't Latham that plays there. He was hopeless last year when he came off the bench and I thought we got rid of the deadwood i.e Broadhurst, and Vescio

Mate he's 19 years old. Blokes that age can make massive gains in an off season.

Other more promising young blokes might fall in with the Epic Bender Crew and waste a year's development.

My mum says junior development is like a box of chocolates. And this year's young player is not necessarily the same as he was last year.

They can but nothing last year proved to me that Latham is ever going to be a good player. he was below average in a team that finished outside the top 8. If we're in such dire straits that Latham has to be pushed into the props I'd prefer to bring up Wayne Francis a year early.

Newbigging is a prop. So is Jordan Grant.

You're forgetting about the jump from SG Ball to Holden Cup though. You saw Latham (a year young) as a below average NYC prop last year, but you're comparing him to blokes who played well in SG Ball. Don't think Pua or Kaufusi are going to be anywhere near the level they were in SG Ball. Tepai Tepu-Smith was more highly rated than either of them last year and he performed no better than Latham in the NYC.

I'm not saying Latham will ever be a first grader. Chances are none of them will.
