While I would say he was shit he wasn't good. Goodall did play wing while Taylor was centre. The only two players from Manly that would make our side would be Trbojevic at full back and knight the left edge back rower. They can keep the rest.

Goodall had several line breaks 3 I recall for huge gains. While I can't recall which edge Davis was on I know Moeroa scored one at least on the right and they made inroads that edge all night.it didn't matter whether it was left edge right edge or the middle Manly were average all over the park and we went through them all night. It will be a long year for them again this year I'm happy to say.

They only made it respectable when we rested the large majority of our starters.

Davis played on the right and made their defence look absolutely ordinary on the first try. From a standing start surrounded by 3 or 4 players stepped through them.

I'm more pissed off we let Kingston go.

Why did we do that and keep that nuffie MK? Anyone know?

Believe he signed with the Burleigh Bears which is the Titans Feeder team in the Intrust cup. He was rumoured to possibly start with the Titans but that was after they had conceeded 4 injuries to their hooking ranks.

I don't think he's shit mate, I don't even know him. I was just having a go at old mate coming here to talk up his own players at the expense of the gun player we poached off them.

I was talking to a Manly fan before the match and they were absolutely distraught that we signed Goodall saying he was their only saviour in recent times and that he is like a young Tony Williams

Haha. Fair call Pou. So I wonder did we mainly go down the right to hit two of our best prospects in Davis or Moeroa or because we were worried about Taylor's awesome defence on the left ; )

Pou, Goodall wasn't one of theirs, they paid him good coin to play Ball and first year NYC , he is a Wenty junior

Thanks to Goodall, Parra are boasting a fantastic backline this year. If our forwards can get a roll on there's a lot of points in this backline.

Yes Del, I know mate. I remember when we signed him someone said Manly originally poached him from our backyard. But while he was contracted to them he was their player. So we poached him back.

A club is only entitled to the players it has under contract. Not just because they grew up near the club.

You weren't watching the same game as myself and others that day. If Fabian was so good he didn't score past Taylor and No Parra Players did on that right side, so something must have been working to stop tries from being scored. Taylor would have had the most tackles made that night and he did score in the right hand edge as well but the Ref needed glasses as everyone else saw it ! If it had been a proper game that try would have been allowed. Tom for manly missed a few tackles and Liam Knight gave Lussick a wake up hit, a beauty.

He is not a winger thats for sure, he is not good under the high ball and runs straight, not nimble enough and doesn't have the explosive speed for a winger

Your kidding yourself FM. Defence looked more than good enough against Manly and Wenty and you don't need to be nimble when you run straight through people like he did v Manly. Works for Taufua, Manu and a host of others.

Long story short Taylor wouldn't make Parra NYC backline. Not better than Davis, Folau, goodall or Lavaka.

Hahahaha Too Funny Parra was one of the clubs I hear trying to Poach him, you wouldn't know anything about other players except your own !! Ask Nathan Davis how good Taylor is, he basically scored all the tries for the Australian team in NZ, you half wit !!!, they are best mates and were both in the Australian Schoolboys together last year

Did Taylor play on the left side for Manly or the right side? For Parra on the right we had Moeroa, Davis, and Lavaka playing on the right with Newbigging, Aukofolau, and Goodall on the left. We made a lot of metres on the left and finished it off by spreading it to the right side of the field.
