I know Goodall played on the right side with Taylor from Manly marking in the centre there and not one try was scored on that side of the field for the whole game, a lot of credit going to Taylors tough defence and yes Goodall was kept quiet after watching the DVD of the game again and a try that Taylor scored was so obvious but was stupidly disallowed it would have brought the score up closer. I think Parramatta will go very well this year

What about all the linebreaks on that side that led to tries on the other side after quick play-the-balls.

Taylor is shit.

Mate sorry but your an Idiot and you don't know what your talking about, there was next to no ball passed onto the right side because Parra knew the defense was tough there, but all the tries Parra scored were on the left side of the field and to say that about Taylor you really don't know too much, he is speedster get him out into the open and its history, National Runner, he has just turned 18, was in the Australian Schoolboys rugby league last season playing on the wing and had a blinder playing in NZ scoring tries etc, twice NSW schoolboys Rugby Union, NSW Schoolboys Rugby League. If Taylor was not playing you guys would have been scoring up the right side as well. He has 5 clubs chasing him including the u20s Australian Rugby Union, Saying that the Manly boys have a lot of good friends in that Parra team as well and a lot were talking to each other the night before. I like Parra but those sort of Stupid Comments turns you off a bit.

So you're saying that only tries scored on that side of the field is a sign of weak defence? I'm sorry but you're the one sounding like an idiot. If a team is constantly conceding metres down one side of the field but doesn't have a try scored against them it's alright? Watch some footy mate and when a break is made down one side of the field generally the team will spread it to the other where the players aren't in position and a try will be scored.

The left side of the field is weak , yes it is and I am the first to admit it. Manly's team is coached badly, simply as that, their halves are hopeless but what the club does they take the boys they want and take them forward to the top and the rest they get rid of, they don't care about winning in the juniors, its all about the 1st grade.

Interesting comment, Manly continue to frustrate the hell out. of clubs that work on their juniors. They jump in and poach anyone, offering decent cash and as you say ignore their own junior to an extent except the stars.

Looking at their current NRL line up, pretty good but depth will be an issue

That's a part of League Delboy, to combat this we need to do a similar thing to an extent. Make sure we are able to hold onto the good ones whilst they're young and give them the best chance to get into first grade, and if they happen to make the jump to another team then we should have someone capable to fill their hole.

We appear to have people in charge that appreciate that fact, and juniors that want to play for the club, and more importantly a coach that wants to use our base

A the same time , I can see that he won't hesitate to get into the market for players,at least that it feels like

If we keep the faith with BA, we will start to build

I don't understand why they don't look after their juniors, they never have and never will. I heard they didn't even put a presentation or have a get together for the boys in the 20s at the end of last season, the halves in the 20s have no skill which does not help with the structure of the team, this is frustrating the boys especially in the backs, so many local boys have left over the years. They don't care about their other grades doing well, they get crap coaches for the other grades who have no idea and the morale in these teams are low. But as i said Manly pick out the talented players sign them for 3 years on crap $$$$ so they don't go anywhere as then these players have to put up with more crap on the way before cracking it into 1st grade and the rest of the players in the team who are no good or haven't produced development, they cut them. There are a lot of very unhappy Juniors at Manly at the moment. Their SG Ball side is on the bottom of the ladder as well. Having a mate as a selector I follow most of the Juniors from clubs in the 20s

Are you talking about Manly or Parra Footy Mad? And if Manly aren't looking after their juniors, we'll gladly take John Hopoate Jnr off your hands.

What about all the linebreaks on that side that led to tries on the other side after quick play-the-balls.

Taylor is shit.

While I would say he was shit he wasn't good. Goodall did play wing while Taylor was centre. The only two players from Manly that would make our side would be Trbojevic at full back and knight the left edge back rower. They can keep the rest.

Goodall had several line breaks 3 I recall for huge gains. While I can't recall which edge Davis was on I know Moeroa scored one at least on the right and they made inroads that edge all night.it didn't matter whether it was left edge right edge or the middle Manly were average all over the park and we went through them all night. It will be a long year for them again this year I'm happy to say.

They only made it respectable when we rested the large majority of our starters.
